Rachel Foster woke up to find that Jackson Foster wasn't beside her. Panic surged through her, and she immediately got out of bed, rushing out of the room.
The villa had three floors and an open layout, so standing on the second-floor balcony, Rachel could already see Jackson sitting on the couch in the living room, playing with the housekeeper.
The housekeeper was helping Jackson assemble a toy airplane, and the little one was thoroughly enjoying himself, focused and delighted.
Rachel sighed with relief as she descended the stairs. The housekeeper noticed her first and greeted her respectfully, "Miss Foster."
Hearing the voice, Jackson turned his head. Upon seeing Rachel, he dashed towards her like an enthusiastic little bird, hugging her affectionately, "Mommy."
