Carson walked in from outside, observing William Franklin, who stood pensively in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, his back to Carson.
"Mr. Franklin, Helen has arrived downstairs at Miss. Foster's building. It seems she's here to pick her up for the airport."
William Franklin's gaze darkened slightly, his tone colder than usual, "I see."
"I didn't expect Ms. Foster would rather stay by Mr. Scott's side than accept your help. It seems she hasn't forgotten about Mr. Scott," Carson noted.
A slight furrow formed between William Franklin's brows, his eyes deepening, "She may still have feelings for Kingsly Scott, but her refusal of my help isn't because she wants to be with him. Her past taught her that debts must be repaid eventually."
