Chapter 25 - Becoming one

As the night went by, a new day starts. Adonis who had just settled in his new apartment near The NCT performance center hears a gentle knock on his door. As Adonis opened the door to his new apartment, he was surprised to find a group of familiar faces standing on his porch. Issac, Roxannah, Korra, and Akira all looked at him with a mix of excitement and concern.

"What the-....What's all this?" Adonis asked, stepping aside to let them in.

"I came to welcome you to your new place," Issac said, "but also to check in on you. I know you're still reeling from your first loss." Adonis nodded, appreciating his concern. "I'm doing okay, I guess. Still trying to process everything."

Roxannah and Korra exchanged a glance, and Adonis noticed a flicker of surprise in their eyes. He realized that they must have both planned to visit him alone, only to find each other at his doorstep.

Roxannah spoke up, her voice casual. "We brought food. Lots of it." Korra nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we figured you could use some company and a decent meal."

Akira, who had been quietly observing the exchange, spoke up. "I just came because i saw everyone else at your door, oh and we'reneighbors now."

Adonis smiled and let out a soft laugh "Thanks, Akira. And it'snice that we'reneighbors. " As they all filed into his apartment, Adonis couldn't help but feel grateful for his friends. They might be a quirky bunch, but they cared about him, and that's all that mattered.

"Alright, let's get this impromptu party started!" Adonis exclaimed, gesturing to the spread of food on his coffee table. The group cheered, and the morning dissolved into a afternoon of laughter, food, and camaraderie. Adonis felt his worries slowly fade away, replaced by a sense of belonging and connection with his friends.

Continue where I left off

"Hey, Akira. I saw you rushing to the ring to help Roxannah and Korra against Toxic Affection last night. These two are like Issac....they are precious friends of mine, so I thank you for want you did for them." Said Adonis calmy and softly

"Wait, you guys are just friends?" She asked in shock. "You know, the word on the street is that you're dating both of them, that's why I helped them out. I thought they were your women." Saud Akira teasing Adonis, Korra and Roxannah. Issac on the other hand burst into laughter after the statement. Adonis's face turned bright red as he stuttered, "W-what? No, no, no! That's not true at all!"

Korra and Roxannah exchanged a glance, both of them looking amused by the situation. "Akira, where did you hear that?" Roxannah asked, her voice laced with laughter. Akira shrugged. "I don't know, I just heard it from some people backstage. I thought it was true, especially since you two were being so secretive about your relationship with Adonis."

Issac, still chuckling, chimed in, "Man, Akira, you really know how to stir up drama, don't you?" Adonis shook his head, trying to clear up the misunderstanding. "No, Akira, it's not like that. Korra and Roxannah are just friends, close friends, but just friends." As Korra and Roxannah blushed, they nodded in agreement, both of them smiling. "Yeah, we're just a big, happy family," Korra said, teasingly. The group erupted into laughter, and the tension was broken. Adonis grinned, feeling relieved that the misunderstanding had been cleared up. "Well, I'm glad we got that straightened out. Now, who's ready for some food?"

With Adonis clearing things, this opened the door to a rivalry between the 3 women in the room.

"So, if you're nit dating either of them. That means you're still on the market, right?" Said Akira looking at Adonis. "If so, that means I can take you all for myself if I wish." Roxannah's eyes narrowed, her smile faltering for a moment. "Oh, I don't think so, Akira," she said, her voice laced with a hint of possessiveness.

Korra, too, seemed to sense the sudden shift in dynamics. She leaned in, her eyes locked on Adonis. "I think Adonis is still trying to figure out who he is outside of the ring. He doesn't need any distractions right now."

Akira's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Oh, I'm not a distraction, Korra. I'm a game-changer. And I always get what I want."

Adonis, sensing the tension building between the three women, held up his hands. "Whoa, ladies, let's not get ahead of ourselves here. I appreciate the interest, but I'm not looking for anything complicated right now."

Issac, who had been quietly observing the exchange, chimed in. "Yeah, and besides, Adonis, just like the rest of us has more important things to worry about... like the next match." The group laughed, and the tension was momentarily broken. But Adonis couldn't shake the feeling that the rivalry between Akira, Roxannah, and Korra was only just beginning. As the evening drew to a close, Adonis smiled, feeling grateful for the unexpected gathering. "You know, I'm really glad you all came over tonight. It's a nice wake up call." Issac nodded in agreement. "Definitely. We should do this more often."

Roxannah spoke up, a mischievous glint in her eye. "I have an idea. Why don't we all meet up tomorrow and go for a jog? We can catch up some more and get in a good workout." Korra's face lit up. "That sounds like a great idea! And after our jog, we can head to the Performance Center and get in some training. I could use a good session."

Akira nodded enthusiastically. "I'm in! I could use a good workout and some quality time with all of you." Adonis grinned, feeling a sense of camaraderie with his friends. "Alright, it's settled then. We'll meet up tomorrow morning and go for a jog, followed by a training session at the Performance Center."

The group cheered, already looking forward to their next gathering. As they said their goodbyes and headed out, Adonis couldn't help but feel grateful for the supportive and motivating group of friends he had surrounding him
