Lyla sat in the cell,her arms wrapped around her shoulder. It's been hours and she was starting to think that she was lied to. The dampness of the stone floor had soaked her dress but she didn't care at the moment. Her eye was no longer swollen and she looked fine now. She didn't know what the figure had done to her but he somehow healed her.
She heard footsteps coming towards her cell and she slowly stood to her feet. The time was finally here. The stranger had told her that she had only one chance to escape and this was it.
The door to her cell groaned open, metal scraping against stone sending a screeching echo reverberating through the stone walls. She kept her back pressed to the cold wall,her heart thundering.
