Ronan continued to stare at Alyssa as she walked away,her waist swinging with each step she took until she disappeared into the woods.
He could still feel the light sting from the slap. She must have slapped him with everything in her. The ache in his heart was far more painful than anything else.
The wind stirred fluttering his hair and the leaves rustled alive him but he still didn't move from his spot. He didn't know what made him kiss her but he still didn't regret it. He hadn't meant to hurt her but he couldn't take how she continued to act like she didn't know that he loved her. How she always tried to get Zades attention.
He exhaled shakily and closed his eyes.
