ARRIE'S POV
Wolf stopped walking when I told him I wanted to be more than friends with him too. He just stared at me like he might have misheard me or something.
"Are you sure?" his voice was shaking.
I didn't know if it was with nerves or excitement, or something else…
"Don't keep asking me, or I'll change my mind," I told the man.
I couldn't help teasing him when he looked at me like that.
The next thing I knew he had snatched me up off the ground like I weighed nothing at all.
I quickly wrapped my legs around his waist so I wouldn't be too difficult to carry. He pushed my arms from his shoulders, so they were wrapped around his neck.
Our faces were no more than an inch apart after that, and the look he was giving me!
Oh my God! I could feel myself getting wet just in response to that sizzling gaze and I blushed under his heated stare.
He walked off the dirt road we were marching on, carrying me straight into the bush.
