No matter how much Lanling wanted to connect with his lover, he had no intention of forcing himself on him.
So after calming Haruki down, he did nothing more than hold his hands. He also reluctantly moved out of Haruki's embrace, afraid he would startle his amnesiac lover.
"...I actually really want to do something more than this. You have no idea how much I miss you."
Lanling's grip on Haruki's hands was gentle but firm, almost desperate. His fingers trembled every so often, and though Haruki's mouth had gone dry from repeatedly assuring he wouldn't run away, his words didn't seem to have much effect.
Haruki debated again and again. After countless moments of questioning himself, his urges finally won.
He leaned forward, deliberately slowing his movements so Lanling would have every chance to pull away. And when he saw Lanling's mouth quiver as if struggling to speak, his head tilted slightly.
