All of the bullshit he had been telling himself about being able to make something of his life without Winter and live well turned to shreds only after hearing Winter's voice.
Blue always knew that he was weak to Winter but he didn't know that he was this weak! Was this how he was going to behave when the little one in his stomach came out?
Blue didn't want to be the type of parent that didn't have any say. And if he were to let Winter coax him all the time, they would end up neglecting their child and focusing on only themselves!
Blue had to learn to steel his heart. Not only to protect himself from Winter's dangerous self, but for the child in his stomach as well.
His hand trailed to touch his belly. Ever since he found out he was pregnant, it had become a constant for him to touch his stomach. The thought of having someone with him at all times… it was a comfortable feeling.
