"Mal, mal," I grinned as I entered the kitchen to find the extremely tiny woman struggling to get to the cookie jar at one of the higher shelves at the top pantry.
She turned back looking like pure exhaustion before she gave me a large smile. "My gigantic hero! Can you help me here? I was about to drop the whole thing down."
"How could I say no to a pregnant woman who looks ready to pop?" I quickly got it for her and once it was in her arms she went waddling to the island where she had a large bowl already mounted with what looked like chocolate and marshmallows.
"Everyone says that to me when they meet me!" She laughed and shook her head. "I don't know what they expected. Anyone who's seen Demyan can tell I won't be able to walk once I give birth."
I grabbed a beer from the fridge before I sat with her at the kitchen nook. "Speaking of trash brothers. Where is he? Why are you even alone?"
