The common state found by hunters is known as the awakening. It is a high necessity in order to become even the weakest of hunters. However, this is different when it comes to those above the king grade. Those who are most renowned internationally go through what is best known as ascension.

A smirk formed on James's cheeks as he had finally his first step towards revenge. He was startled to notice that Ryan had been in the room along with infamous healer.
"You have awakened no ascended," said Ryan, who was almost falling to his knees in shock.
"Let's forget about that. When is the academy's entrance ceremony being held?" James asked Ryan, showing his charisma.
"How would I know that? I work for no one and have no affiliation with you, James," he scoffed, preparing to leave as if attempting to flee.
"Don't joke with me, I know my aunt sent you keep me safe. If I somehow don't go to the entrance ceremony, I assure you that my aunt won't take it lightly," James said, taking his coat and getting ready to embark.
Of course, Ryan had been discovered, and instead of dwelling on how he got found out, he noted that only twenty minutes were left. His tone clearly indicated that too little time, and they couldn't reach the province in time.
That didn't even concern James, as with his knowledge, if they took a teleportation gate, it would take seconds. The only option was to go to the place located at least twenty minutes away. Money was never a concern, but time was the biggest issue.
