A spray of dark blood erupted into the air before it froze mid-air due to the presence of extreme cold and the monster collapsed onto the very bodies it had butchered.
Silence fell over the clearing once more.
Ethan let out a breath and stretched his fingers as he absorbed the aftermath of his experiment.
The results were better than he had anticipated, though there was still much room for improvement and much-needed diligent practice.
