The warm water sloshed around them as Damian pressed Evelina against the cool marble, his body crowding her space with an infuriating sense of dominance.
Evelina's breath hitched as she braced herself against the smooth edge of the tub, her heart pounding wildly. "You—" She exhaled sharply, trying to compose herself, but the heat of his body against hers made it nearly impossible.
Damian's smirk was downright wicked. "What's wrong, sweetheart? You were so bold just a moment ago."
Her fingers curled into his chest as she glared up at him. "I was just having a bath."
"And now?" He leaned in, his breath warm against her damp skin. "Now, you're at my mercy."
Evelina scoffed. "Oh, please." She rolled her eyes, masking the way her pulse spiked. "You think I'll just—"
Damian interrupted by slowly and deliberately running his lips down the side of her neck. The difference in temperature between the cool marble at her back and the heat of his mouth sent shivers down her spine.
