Xavier took Morgana down to the dungeon, which was going to be her home until he felt like releasing her.
"Open it," Xavier ordered the guard who normally watched the prisoners.
Morgana was on the verge of tears. She was the princess of the kingdom, not some peasant to be thrown into a cell. "When Darius hears of this, he will not rest until I am free."
"If he hears about this," Xavier corrected Morgana. "He can't interfere with me imprisoning you. You shifted as my wife and went where you did not belong. I don't have time for your games," he said, pushing Morgana into the cell.
Morgana slipped on something wet on the floor and fell, dirtying her dress. She was afraid to look down to see what now covered her dress and hand. "Please," she looked up at Xavier. "I won't do this again."
"I know you won't. I will make sure of it," Xavier replied.
