"If this is true, why haven't they told us? I would have been understanding and not been upset that they lied to me. How could they think it is right to tell us we have holy water to protect ourselves only for it to be normal water?" Cassandra asked.
Holy water was their last resort to save themselves if they were in a tricky situation so anyone who went to use that water on a vampire would surely die.
"They wanted to avoid panic which all of you would do. You'll be safe as long as you continue to be the woman Gabriel wants you to be and he still is useful. I can lead him off course from the others. Go home," Bryce advised Cassandra.
"Why are they lying to us so much? If the water is gone, shouldn't they move faster to end our plans? I have seen them walking around with holy water so I believe they have kept it for themselves. Something doesn't feel right," Cassandra said, not liking the church's actions anymore.
