Orlork had more important matters to deal with than Nathaniel. Had he known they were at the start of another war, he would have gone to see the others and started planning for them to be safe.
"It is not as it sounds. We are being careful. Should they come to our doors, we will be ready for them," Nathaniel said, trying to find his way back into his father's good graces. "I have already started plans for how we will deal with this. Those humans will never get the best of us."
"You are starting to sound more like the king. They have made more holy weapons which is enough cause for concern. The king has been ignoring the attacks since they have only been toward mixed-bloods. I am certain their attacks will come to us soon," said Xavier.
Orlork nodded his head, agreeing with Xavier. "Your son is more sensible than you are. Jasper, see Nathaniel out. I want him out of my home and off my land. If he doesn't leave, I will inform the others he is no longer a Blackthorn."
