I KISS Iris' neck, doing my best to comfort her. She's sleeping on the sofa with her head on my lap as I run my fingers through her dark fluffy hair. Since waking up we haven't tried taking a bath, even when my Dad and Bella left a while ago, we remained seated.
It's a bit ironic how Iris is sulking and almost teary-eyed for someone who was on board with the idea of me and Bella working together. Especially since I could feel the tension between the two every time they looked at each other. I thought for sure she would try and stop whatever my Dad and Bella were trying to do, but she surprised me either way.
You think you know a person.
What I can't believe more is my Dad. From the looks of it, he's the one who orchestrated the entire thing, from joining forces with Bella to convincing Iris this was the best decision to boot, it all smells fishy in a sense that can only be led by him.
