Chapter 24: Expanding Horizons
After witnessing the emergence of the Soul Monarch skill, Gene Yuto was ecstatic. A wave of excitement rippled through the room, and every Yuto could feel Gene's elation. One of them, unable to contain his curiosity, asked, "What has you so ecstatic?"
Gene turned to them, a wide grin on his face. "I've been grappling with how to give life to cyborg humans without success , we can only use AI as a pseudo soul. I was contemplating making the first generation entirely cyborg, but then I realized that when they marry, they could have children with souls. This means we could create real humans. With the Soul Monarch skill, we can imbue them with souls, resulting in a race of loyal individuals."
He paused, letting the implications sink in. "These cyborgs can be trained in various fields, improving our overall efficiency. They could be deployed throughout the ninja world to help us operate malls, guilds, stores, and restaurants. This would not only expand our influence but also allow us to keep an eye on the ninja world."
Everyone nodded in agreement, recognizing the potential for increased efficiency and productivity. Yuto spoke up, "You should focus on the creation of the cyborg human race, and I will ensure that CEO Yuto provides the necessary funding for both you and Architect Yuto."
Both Gene and Architect Yuto nodded, ready to take on the challenge.
"Let's move to the next topic," Yuto continued, shifting the discussion.
Write Yuto stood up and said,"Our novels, particularly the harem-themed ones, are selling exceptionally well. We've sold over ten thousand copies in the first week alone. In just two months, we've made over five million Rio, with 30% of those sales coming from harem and other 'H' type novels. They're selling like hotcakes!"
The excitement in the room was palpable as everyone realized the impact of their success. He went on, "We're also planning to launch a newspaper and magazine this month. We've tasked various ninja villages with distributing them throughout their regions under the name of the Yuto Watanabe Printing Company. This will allow us to cut ties with guilds and malls, giving us more control."
He continued, "We project that we can earn 30 million Rio every two months from the sales of these publications to the general public across the ninja world. And we expect this revenue to increase over time."
Yuto nodded in approval. "Keep it up, and make sure we influence the ordinary people steadily and gradually."
He then asked for the next report. Chef Yuto stepped forward, ready to share his findings. "I am currently developing various foods and beverages for our malls. The sales reports will be included in the mall's overall performance."
Yuto nodded and moved on to the next report. Military Yuto stood, brimming with pride. "It's my turn now. Engineer Yuto and I have successfully created and launched five satellites into space. They now orbit our planet, monitoring all activities below. We've also developed a popular watch for both commoners and ninjas, equipped with monitoring and positioning functions to gather information from across the ninja world."
He continued, "We've created specialized cards for guild members that utilize nanotechnology, which serve the same monitoring and positioning purposes while also helping them remember their ranks and contribution points."
To illustrate his point, he pulled up satellite footage for everyone to see. "From our satellite data, we discovered that there are four continents. The largest is the ninja continent, followed by a toad continent, a snake continent riddled with holes, and a slug continent that resembles a massive slug."
As the footage played, everyone was shocked by the revelations. The existence of satellites was a game-changer for their plans.
CEO Yuto, intrigued by the possibilities, asked, "Can we connect the satellites to televisions and release movies, news, and series?"
Military Yuto responded, "Yes and no. We can connect to TVs and broadcast shows, but we lack the necessary programming and, with our limited satellites, there will be blind spots in the signals, leading to interruptions."
He continued, "However, within a year, we aim to launch an additional thirteen satellites."
Yuto's mind raced with potential strategies. "Can you equip the satellites with missiles so that we can strike from a distance if needed? I want to lock onto the toad continent and prepare for a complete destruction if the need arises."
Military Yuto nodded with determination. "Yes, we've already begun working on that. In parallel with the satellite launches, we're also developing bombs similar to nuclear weapons."
The room buzzed with anticipation as they contemplated the growing power and influence of their organization. With every advancement, they were solidifying their control over the ninja world and beyond. The time for their rise was drawing near, and they were prepared to seize it.
