Chapter 3
The man with phoneix eyes, eye brows like sword and eyes as cold as glacier was breathtakingly beautiful. Su Ying felt her heart skip a beat. She had to admit that this man was the was the most beautiful man she had ever seen. If he was in the modern world he would have been an idol and had thousands of fan. No he would be a domineering CEO controlling the entertainment industry like a king.
If not for those eyes looking at her with hatred then she would have appreciated his beauty more. What a pity. Suddenly he spoke breaking her out of her thoughts.
" Su Ying haven't you had enough. Even if you want to punish me at least think about this children. They are still young and innocent".
Su Ying who was labelled heartless was stunned. It was not her but the original host that did it. She kept quiet looking at the man and the kids. The older looked at her with hostility while the younger with fear. She opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted.
"Enough, I don't want to hear your lies. All I ask is for you to look after this kids while I go up the mountain".
Xiao Shan said while starring at her with disgust and hatred. He took the kids and went inside leaving her standing there baffled. Su Ying wondered why the man hated her so much that she could feel his desire to kill her. She looked at him as he went in with the kids and noticed an abnormality. As is if struck by lightning she remembered something.
The man whose name she remembered as Xiao Shan was a hunter. He was disabled in his right leg. He broke his leg on his way back from the mountain while he was rushing to come back on a rainy night. The host was a bad mother so he was worried that she would do something to the kids if he didn't come back. He fell and broke his legs and unfortunately before he was found it was already late. He was rushed to the local doctor who declared that he would be a lame in the leg and can't be treated. Since then the host disdains him and her attitude became worse and deliberately makes things difficult for him even going as far as hitting the children to vent frustration.
She refused to give the children food claiming that their father's treatment spent all of the money. This made the already lame Xiao Shan go back into the mountain to hunt and sell animals to get food worsening his injuries. This further aggravated his injury making him hate the host to death. If the host had supported him by caring for the children he would have made a full recovery.
"Sigh...
"This is going to be difficult. I have to clean the mess now. The host was indeed a wicked woman deserving to die. If only I had my first aid kit, I would have taken a bit closer at his injuries and know if I could cure it".
No sooner had she finished another wave of pain hit her and she slumped down fainting. Hearing the sound the father and son looked at her with disdain not bothering to even help her.
"Hmph, pretending to faint to shrink responsibility. The same trick everytime something happens" Xiao Shan said.
Not sparing her another glance they entered the dilapidated house and closed the door leaving her lying there.
Meanwhile Su Ying was stunned. After fainting she woke up only to find herself in a strange place. Looking around she wondered where she was and then a bizarre thought occurred to her.
"No way. Could this be the legendary space"
She gasped in shock. When she was free she would read novels about reborn and transmigration but never expected she would experience one herself. She had read about the female protagonist having a space or golden finger so experiencing it now fet surreal.This was amazing but she then wondered what could have triggered it to open. Suddenly she felt a faint pain on her hand and looked over only to see the Jade bead she wore on her hand turn red as it absorbed the blood from the injury in her and when she fell. The jade bead turned red hue and then blend into her hand turning invisible.
Seeing the magic scene that happened before her eyes she understood what happened. In her palm was now a faint crescent mole in place of the jade bead which was barely noticable to the naked eyes.
" Wow. This is amazing. So the Jade bead is this space and me thinking of curing him activated it to open". At the thought of that she decided to explore the space to see how useful it would be to her in this world.
