Chapter 191 - Chapter 6: Obito—Run for Your Life!

With Morphology Level 2, Deidara's ability to create clay creatures had taken yet another significant leap forward.

He wasn't entirely sure how the later "Modernized Weaponry" skill point would work, but at his current level, he could already craft some incredibly futuristic constructs.

The C3 Asura Path was one such creation.

Myriad Serpent Formation!

Countless clay-white serpents slithered across the ground. Though their explosive power wasn't high, they made for an excellent reconnaissance and disruption technique.

Hiss! Hiss!

As the clay snakes slithered forward in attack, the C3 Asura Path also sprang into action. With a slight tremor of its shoulders, two massive cannon shells fired from within its body. These shells were part of an internal ammunition system, meaning that with each shot, the construct was gradually hollowing itself out.

Facing the oncoming assault, the original Asura Path among Obito's Six Paths gathered a concentrated beam of energy atop its head and intercepted the two shells with a sharp beep!

Boom!

The shells exploded mid-air, sending out shockwaves and searing heat.

But if that was the full extent of the C3 Asura Path's power, then Deidara would have been sorely disappointed in himself.

The smaller cannons on its abdomen opened fire, unleashing three consecutive waves of mini-shells. Though they lacked the sheer firepower of the larger shells, each explosion packed a punch comparable to an A-rank ninjutsu.

Shinra Tensei!

Obito was forced to use Shinra Tensei, pushing the explosive force away with a repelling shockwave. He was careful to have the Deva Path cast it instead of exposing his true body.

Fwoosh!

The C3 Asura Path then shifted a vent pipe from its back to its front and unleashed an inferno of high-temperature flames.

Under normal circumstances, Obito's Six Paths alone wouldn't be enough to deal with such a relentless barrage.

After all, Shinra Tensei was on cooldown, and Deidara's explosions were all pure physical attacks. The Preta Path, which specialized in absorbing chakra-based techniques, was useless against them.

Luckily, among Obito's Six Paths, he had a Jinchūriki—Utakata, the Six-Tails Jinchūriki.

Water Release: Water Formation Wall!

Although the Six-Tails was often associated with acidic attacks, it was still a water-element beast. As its Jinchūriki, Utakata had a natural mastery over Water Release.

A massive water wall surged upward. Though not as formidable as the inferno it faced, elemental advantage dictated that water would counter fire just fine.

Using the rising steam as a temporary smokescreen, Obito seized the opportunity.

The Animal Path leapt aside and slammed its palm onto the ground.

Summoning Jutsu!

"Ahhh! We're finally out!"

"So this is what it feels like to have the Rinnegan! Not bad!"

"Hahaha! I feel ridiculously strong!"

Obito didn't summon the usual beasts. He knew that ordinary summons wouldn't cut it in this fight.

Instead, he had stitched together a horde of White Zetsu hybrids, reinforcing them with a concoction made from life energy and the Hero Water.

These grotesque creatures had terrifying combat potential.

However, their appearance was beyond disturbing—an unholy amalgamation of White Zetsu bodies, stitched together with countless eyes and twisted faces. The entire battlefield's atmosphere warped just looking at them.

"Watch this!" One White Zetsu abomination lashed out at the C3 Asura Path, extending two massive, sinewy branches to bind it tightly.

"Me too! Me too!" Another stumbled forward, its grotesque limbs twisting unnaturally as it activated Wood Release, further restricting the C3 Asura Path.

Deidara wasn't about to stand idly by.

"Obito, you've actually surprised me. I thought with Kakashi on your side, you wouldn't need to use this."

Deidara pulled out a pre-prepared clay construct—his trump card.

C3: Enhanced Flesh Mountain!

A colossal flesh-like mountain erupted onto the battlefield, sprouting four enormous tentacles that grabbed the White Zetsu hybrids, lifting them high.

"Let go of me! Let go!" The abominations struggled wildly, Wood Release tendrils flaring from within their bodies.

They were surprisingly strong—so much so that the Flesh Mountain's tentacles were struggling to hold them down.

Hiss!

Meanwhile, Utakata had fully transformed, assuming the form of a massive slug covered in mucus.

Perhaps the Sage of Six Paths had based the Six-Tails' design on the Slug Sage, though compared to the Slug Sage, the Six-Tails' aesthetics were… significantly lacking.

It unleashed a highly corrosive acid mist, which instantly began dissolving the Flesh Mountain's tentacles, allowing the Zetsu hybrids to break free.

"It's him! He dares to attack us like this!"

"Kill him! Kill him!"

The abominations chattered madly, their bodies spewing even more Wood Release, lunging toward Deidara atop the Flesh Mountain.

Boom! Boom!

The C3 Asura Path retaliated, bombarding one of the abominations with heavy artillery. The blast obliterated it… or so it seemed.

But thanks to the Hero Water's enhancements, the creature rapidly regenerated, returning to full strength in mere moments.

"Flesh Mountain! Volcanic Eruption!"

The monstrous construct began to pulse violently, building up internal pressure. Unlike the C3 Asura Path, its attacks weren't limited by ammunition—it generated immense heat, instantly vaporizing two of the Zetsu hybrids. The remaining two barely managed to escape with the Six-Tails' aid.

With the battle raging, what was Obito doing?

He was forming a small, dark sphere—one that pulsed with ominous power.

He knew that conventional attacks wouldn't work on Deidara, nor did he expect his Six Paths alone to win. As much as he hated to admit it, Deidara was a cut above him now.

So he needed to go big.

Even if he couldn't kill Deidara outright, he had to buy time—time to escape.

Spreading his hands apart, he released a black, pulsing core into the air.

Chibaku Tensei!

From past experience, he knew that even Deidara would struggle to destroy it before being caught in its gravitational pull.

But… was that really the case?

Deidara calmly turned to Kakashi, who instantly understood.

Before coming here, they had thoroughly prepared for every possible scenario.

Kamui!

Kakashi locked onto the floating black sphere. A vortex of spiraling space-time distortion formed, swallowing the core before it could activate.

Obito: "..."

Feeling the raging chaos inside his Kamui dimension, only one thought filled Obito's mind:

Run.
