Jovana was escorted to a large room where Caspian was waiting for her. It was just the two of them. The moment she laid eyes on him, she rushed to him and threw herself at him, embracing him tightly. "You did it! I can't believe you did it without any bloodshed."
Caspian chuckled as he held onto her and inhaled her unique scent. "I had a very good reason not to fail. I couldn't let anything bad happen to you."
Jovana pulled away from the hug and looked into his steely eyes, but all she felt was warmth. She puffed her cheeks as she teased, "Something bad happen to me? I saved your life, Caspian Clifford."
"Hmm, and you were incredibly heroic. I guess it will be more problematic to keep you in line in the future," Caspian commented, and Jovana laughed.
"We'll see. What will happen now?" she asked, looking curiously at him.
