After the ritual was over, Elijah had to leave Jovana and Xena alone to take care of matters concerning the kingdom while Xena was put under Jovana's care. They were both heading to the carriage when Jovana noticed something strange around her. Her carriage was parked in an alley, and the alley was quiet with no crowds around.
Jovana looked around, trying to ignore the chills that were running down her spine.
"Hahaha," Jovana heard the sound of laughter and turned her head to see Falcon with a young maiden she was not familiar with.
It seemed Falcon had whispered something in her ear, making the lady laugh out loud. Jovana noticed how close the two appeared to be, and though curious about their relationship, she needed someone to assist her with Xena and called out to them.
"Lord Ridley,"
Falcon, noticing Jovana with Xena from afar, quickly rushed forward, with Lady Carina following after him. "Is she okay?" Carina asked, her eyes filled with concern as she gazed at Xena.
