The next morning, Jovana woke up later than usual, and turning to the other side of the bed, she realized she was alone in bed, and Caspian wasn't beside her. "Your Grace, may I come in?" Jovana heard a masculine voice behind the door.
"Yes, come in please." Felix pushed the door open, and Jovana saw him pushing a trolley tray full of different dishes and soups; the aroma making her lips water as her gaze fell on the tray of dishes.
"The Duke asked us to prepare this for you and to leave a message that he was going to meet the king and would be back for the fourth ritual later," he said, and Jovana nodded at him, putting a name to Felix's face. He was the same person who had served them when she had come to the Duke's house for the first time with Elijah.
