The clash between Giant Sun Immortal Venerable and Star Constellation Immortal Venerable shook the very void. Waves of terrifying force clashed and rippled, sending deadly reverberations throughout the Crazed Demon formation. Fang Yuan, caught between these titanic entities, endured in silence. His expression was pale, his aura incredibly weak—he had just barely survived the black fire tribulation. Zhan Bu Du, one of his main clones, had fallen, his immortal aperture absorbed into the Crazed Demon formation. Fang Yuan had managed to save his Gu through timely evacuation via Treasure Yellow Heaven, but the loss still stung.
Worse, black fire continued to burn within his sovereign immortal aperture. It devoured everything in its path—resource points, Gu, and even Gu Immortals. Luo Po Valley and Dang Hun Mountain were left in ruins. Only about forty percent of his subordinates remained alive.
Fang Yuan was on the brink. Yet, the battlefield did not wait.
Giant Sun Immortal Venerable launched another fierce assault. Fang Yuan gritted his teeth and ordered his Qi Sea clone to intercept the strike. Unlike Zhan Bu Du, the Qi Sea clone lacked the body refinement and defensive might to survive such a blow. His death was almost certain.
But at that moment, starry paths twisted in space. An azure sphere formed, encasing Qi Sea Ancestor and blocking the incoming killer move. Giant Sun Immortal Venerable's eyes widened in surprise. His killer move shattered the sphere, but the clone had escaped.
He turned and glared at Star Constellation Immortal Venerable. The latter heaved a sigh. Their perfect coordination had cracked.
Lu Wei Yin and the other pseudo venerables felt their hearts shake—this was their first true opening.

Meanwhile, the eighth layer of the Crazed Demon Cave collapsed. A thunderous roar marked the annihilation of the final merged great world. All that remained was the ninth and final layer.
Within its center floated the last piece of truthful floating ice. On it, the three Crazed Demon Eccentrics carved furiously with practice Gu, their bodies writhing with exhaustion.

Star Constellation and Giant Sun froze. Their alliance to eliminate the pseudo venerables had failed. Fang Yuan, defiant and undying, had ruined their coordination.
Now the real war would begin: the battle for the eternal life results.
Just then, Star Constellation made her move. Qin Ding Ling emerged, striking at Giant Sun with a perfected killer move. Simultaneously, Golden Hooped Great Immortal appeared and bound Giant Sun Immortal Venerable with a golden hoop.
Star Constellation now had the upper hand. If her methods succeeded, she could dominate the field and seize the eternal life research.
But Giant Sun only smiled. "Star Constellation, you forgot something."
A blinding radiance erupted from the void. A rank eight Immortal Gu House—the Luck Suppression Heavenly Palace—shone brightly.
It had been hidden deep within the Crazed Demon formation, silently analyzing its mechanics. Activated now, it resonated with the formation, destabilizing Star Constellation's chessboard and shattering Limitless' chains.
Star Constellation Immortal Venerable coughed blood, suffering heavy backlash.
Giant Sun advanced rapidly. Star Constellation, without time to recover, activated her mysterious lantern-shaped secluded domain of heaven and earth. She aimed it at Giant Sun's back and shook it lightly.
Immense emotions surged within Giant Sun. His pace faltered, but he fought through it.
They clashed again. The void twisted. Winds howled. Stellar beams collided with golden divine light.
They reached the final floating ice almost simultaneously—and halted.
The eccentrics stirred. Pang Shan, now emaciated, murmured, "We were so close… why hasn't it activated…?"
Secret Schemer weakly addressed the Venerables, "We need one more person to use practice Gu. Just a little more…"
Neither Venerable moved. Whoever entered would be vulnerable.
Suddenly, the pseudo venerables struck. Demon Immortal Qi Jue killed Duke Tong. Lu Wei Yin crushed Che Wei with a giant hand. The battlefield became a slaughterhouse.
Without the Star Constellation Chessboard and its resurrection support, Heavenly Court Immortals fell quickly.
Star Constellation moved to intervene. Giant Sun blocked her. The fight resumed.
In the chaos, Giant Sun opened his immortal aperture and released the Calamity Luck Altar. "Bing Sai Chuan, go!"
But Star Constellation reacted. She shook her lantern again.
Bing Sai Chuan collapsed in grief. "I've failed you, master… I should die!"
He began activating a self-destructive killer move. Giant Sun intervened just in time, flooding Bing Sai Chuan's soul with golden light.
The young immortal survived, but trembled with fear. "Master has endured this torment all along…?"
Star Constellation smiled faintly. She had struck where it hurt.
Giant Sun couldn't retaliate. Star Constellation released the revived Qin Ding Ling and other Heavenly Court immortals from her immortal aperture.
But Giant Sun slaughtered them all in moments.
Still, neither Venerable reached the floating ice. Anyone who dared approach was immediately targeted.
Shen Shang tried.
He was blasted into unconsciousness by both Venerables.
Others tried too. Paradise Earth. Qi Jue. Lu Wei Yin. All failed.
Meanwhile, Fang Yuan remained silent.
He had finally suppressed the black fire. But it came at a heavy cost. His immortal essence reserves had dropped to twenty percent. His resource points were scorched. Most of his Immortal Gu had perished. His combat strength was crippled.
Yet, the Venerables feared him.
Because he had survived.
They both turned to him.
"Fang Yuan," Giant Sun said, "join me. I'll share the eternal life results with you."
Star Constellation countered, "Join Heavenly Court. I'll offer Primordial Domain and the wisdom path true inheritance."
Fang Yuan laughed. "And what price will you pay?"
Neither dared fight him. Neither could ignore him.
But their negotiations were cut short.
Cracks spread through the floating ice.
It shattered.
And from the center rose a figure.
"Forever been the Dao-Seeking Crazed Demon… Looking up towards life, death, and the universe… Through a million years of planning and accumulation… On this day, Limitless achieves true eternal life!"
The figure solidified.
Limitless Demon Venerable had returned.
Paradise Earth's mouth fell open. "Impossible…"
Star Constellation trembled. "Limitless? He… he revived?!"
Even the mighty Giant Sun Immortal Venerable frowned deeply.
The battlefield fell into silence, every immortal shaken to their core.
The game had changed.

The reason FY is still at a pseudo-venerable level is that he didn't receive the memories needed to obtain the Venerable requirements, and this will be explained, as I mentioned he reached the Crazed Demon Cave. He doesn't have memories of limitless being revived too.
