"How strange, why is there only one deer?"
Chen Ying looked around, making sure that there was only this one male deer in sight.
Although typically, male white-tailed deer live alone, during mating season, a handsome and strong deer like this one wouldn't miss out on such a wonderful time.
Chen Ying sensed that this deer was reluctant to communicate, so she didn't dare get too close, opting to circle around and see if it was injured or disabled.
After thoroughly checking, she didn't find anything that would cause the doe to disdain it.
"This is so strange. Is this deer a bachelor?"
Curious, Chen Ying decided to stay the night and observe the surrounding white-tailed deer herd to see if she could discover anything.
There were quite a few small animals living in this area, so the two of them spent a good amount of effort finding a safe camping spot. They finally found a natural cave near the junction of shrubbery and bare mountain rocks to set up their tent.
