[Earth-Moon Orbital (LTO)]
This is a straight tunnel connecting Capital City to Moon City, and it uses the very rare magnetic levitation train for transportation (trains are basically not used for nationwide transportation).
If one were to look down from high above Earth City and Moon City,
both cities would appear circular, and the tunnel is the shortest straight line connecting the two "circles".
The total length of the tunnel, about 50km, takes less than ten minutes by train.
However,
while it's easy to travel to Moon City, the return trip is rather troublesome.
The security coefficient and management model of the two cities are worlds apart.
Any tourist* (limited to regular tourists) wishing to return from the Moon to the Capital must undergo a very tedious human body inspection, and the pass rate for inspections is extremely low.
Therefore, many refer to the Earth-Moon Orbital as the "One-way Orbital," as you can only go but not come back.
