They both turn around to see Di Jun standing where the light is coming in. The others are still asleep. Hei stand up and growl. Hu Li is unable to stand up look at the two men helplessly.
"Please don't fight."
Di Jun just simply stand there and look at him. Hei's hair start to fly with the gentle wind.
"Why are you here?"
"Why can't i? My Hu Li and My Lu'er is here. We are family."
Hei growl again and walk slowly. Under the moonlight, the hair of two men glow and their hair move along with the wind.
"Master..."
"Don't worry my Hu Li i won't fight with this, beast here. I am a peaceful person."
Hei spat at the floor and look at Di Jun.
"You, peaceful? Why you hit way too hard to be peaceful."
"Oh is it so? Should i apologise that the last round i hit too hard?"
"Stop that please. Don't fight here. My son is asleep."
Di Jun walk nearer to Hu Li and sit by the fire. Hei follow but he sit closer to Hu Li. Di Jun look at Bai Lu and touch his hair. Hei seeing that he growl again. Hu Li smack Hei's arm to signal stop the growl. In order not to upset Hu Li, they both sit there in silence and watch the fire. Huan Xi wakes up because of the heat in Bai Lu's pocket. She look outside to find the grandmaster is there. She creep out and morph back to her little girl appearance.
"Greeting, Grandmaster." she bow to Di Jun.
"Hei ge ge" she run and sit beside Hei
Di Jun look at them and ask
"Why he is ge ge and i am grandmaster? Hei and i are the same age!"
Hu Li look at him angry with the electricity sparks flying out of her golden eyes. Huan Xi giggle and cover her mouth. She whisper
"Cause he is a ge ge. While you are the master of my master."
"I am younger than you! You are an old man!"
With that Hei receive another whack from Hu Li. With that the whole night Hu Li smacking left and right in order for them not to disturb her son.
The sun rises with the birds chipping in a distance. All of them have their eyes shut and ears up. The spiritual dogs wake up first to see the three masters siting as if they are mediating. Quietly they morph back to a human form and walk to the edge of the river to wash their face after that they take the bread out from their bags. Soon everyone is awake and Bai Lu is happy to see his grandmaster. Hei is not happy that the boy is close to his mortal enemy thus he follow and try to please the little one. Di Jun did not do anything about Hei trying to please the little one. He only watch Hu Li who is washing her face. He walk near where Hu Li is at.
"You met him?"
"Yes. Unfortunately."
"His life span is not that long now. Are you sure..."
"Master. Now, in my heart, i only have my son. Other things are not important. What he wants to do with his life... is his choice."
"His choice was force upon him. Don't blame it on him."
"Still he made that choice. If he did not want to marry that princess. He know what i am and what i can do. I was the spiritual guardian. If he summon me to assist to escape, do you think i can't do it?"
"He is a human. We cannot understand what those complicated minds are thinking."
"Master, let's not talk about all these but why are you here?"
"I just want to see Bai Lu that's all and also to see you."
Just then Bai Lu come running to Di Jun.
"Grandmaster!"
Di Jun pick him up and smile. Hei stand beside Hu Li with dislike showing on his face.
"Do you miss me? I miss you Grandmaster!"
"Yes i miss you too. That's why i am here."
"Grandmaster, we are going to uncle Hei's place to stay for a while. Do you want to come there with us?"
"No not now but i know where to look for you."
"How would you know?! The place is only for us foxes!"
"There is no where that i can't find."
"Please, it's early morning. Can you both stop."
Dong Mei hand over a bread to Bai Lu. While the rest of them stand around and watch the three masters talk. In the end, Di Jun watch them morph into their animal form and Bai Lu sits on Hu Li's back. He promised Bai Lu to meet him a week later in the green forest. Hei hearing that understands why Di Jun have so much power in him. That man have master the power to see the future too.
They run for half a day and approach a dense forest. Their noses pick up wet stinky bodies that is lurking around. Hei morph back his human form.
"Guys! i am back."
A young fox run out and morph in the air as he jump into Hei's arm. His eyes are all dark without any white. Bai Lu who see this gets excited. He gets off Hu Li's back. The boy who looks sightly older, he smile and show his sharp canine teeth. While behind them, are a few foxes. Each looking and wondering who they are. Hu Li morph into her human form and look at them. Her white hair flows as the wind blows. They see her golden eyes that sparks with electricity, skin white like snow and a little boy hold her hand. Hu Li smell the air, strangely it feels more, home.
Hei starts to walk and the rest follow him. Hei keeps talking to the boy in his arms. The boy seems like he can't talk he just nod or shake his head. While Yang Yang grows afraid of the foxes stares. She walk close to Hu Li. The three spiritual dogs wants to run around but they try to curb their curiosity about the place first. Huan Xi holding the other hand of Bai Lu and she smile at every fox she see. They come to a huge tree with branches that stretches far and endless. The leaves are exceptionally green and healthy. When Hu Li walk near the tree, the leaves begin to dance on its own. This huge tree's trunk is a void. They all follow Hei's lead and walk into it. Inside, is another world. a huge space where foxes are living in. Most of them walk about in their human form. Some are selling or exchanging items. Some are selling hot food. Some are making clothes. It resembles a busy street in the human world. However the arrival of Hu Li, they all stop. The foxes they have seen are usually in red or brown furs. While for Hei, they got used to him after a hundred years. Now a snow white fur fox have arrive in their domain. Like Hei, her tails are long and bushy. However the usual part is that she have three fully grown tails behind her two fully white tails and one red tip tail. They companions that are following them are unusual too. Hei continue to walk into the street. Everyone is staring at them eventually they follow them behind. They walk for awhile and almost reached a house by an old white tree.
"We need to give our respect to an older who live here. He is the one who bought all these foxes here to live."
Hei explain while walking. He put down the boy. The moment he touch the ground he morph into a fox and run into the house.
