"Who's this being nosy?"
Lin Fu cursed in irritation.
Fu Tian's eyes flickered outside; if he remembered correctly, it was his older brother who had the Military Department issue the notice for reform, right?
"Do you need my help?" Fu Tian volunteered to ask.
"Wouldn't that be too much trouble?"
"Not at all."
Fu Tian turned and went out to contact his friends. About ten minutes later, he came back in, gave Lin Fu an OK sign, then shrugged his shoulders and took off first.
"Thank you. I'll treat you to a meal next time."
Lin Fu saw him out, expressing her thanks politely. After all, he had helped his own roommate; Fu Tian had no obligation to assist her. This favor was something Lin Fu took note of.
After seeing Fu Tian off, Lin Fu went in and saw He Shu reluctantly gazing at the sky.
"Lin Fu, how do you know Colonel Fu Tian?"
"Uh... my brother is his comrade-in-arms."
"So... are you two close?"
"Pretty average! We're not that familiar." Lin Fu stated matter-of-factly.
