Three days later—
"Time's up, all freshmen come out!"
With a click, the door of the confinement room swung open, one after another, automatically. The light from outside made Lin Fu subconsciously close her eyes, and it took her quite a while to adapt and finally open her eyes.
Stepping out of the confinement room and standing in the corridor, she met a pair of icy blue eyes, staring in disbelief at Lin Fu.
"Mervin Melfield?"
"Lin Fu?"
Mervin had a tall and upright figure, his facial features were resolute yet handsome, and he had a strong presence which clearly marked him as someone not to be trifled with.
Lin Fu was quite surprised too. If it weren't for the self-introductions, she wouldn't dare recognize anyone just by their confinement room number and location.
Lin Fu nodded with a smile.
Mervin appeared calm, but inside, he was quite shocked, especially when he noticed that Lin Fu was wearing a bathrobe and was barefoot, which surprised him even more.
