A ball of flames landed on the platform, causing an explosion that sent shockwaves and intense winds in all directions.
A few meters away, Trey and the miner braced themselves behind their remaining shield tubes. As the explosion reached them, their barriers cracked before shattering into bursts of glowing particles.
Trey hurriedly activated his shield, with Bach standing behind him.
"Take this. Use it the moment my shield breaks—I'll stand behind you!" Trey shouted, handing another shield tube to the miner.
Bach nodded, his face serious, cold sweat forming on his forehead. He gripped the shield tube tightly as another explosion erupted. This time, three balls of flame crashed down around them.
Some unfortunate Primers were caught off guard, having just dealt with the previous fireball when another landed on them. They were thrown off the platform, their bodies vanishing into the shattered, mirror-like spaces. Their grotesque, painful screams disappeared as quickly as they came.
