At that moment Lucas glanced at Kai as he drove.
"We go in quiet. No backup. No distractions. We see who's running the show."
Kai gave a slight nod, his gaze focused ahead.
"And if things go south?" Lucas smirked.
"Then we make them regret ever showing up."
Shipment Zone – Midnight
Kai and Lucas sped through the city, cutting through dark alleys and deserted roads.
The shipment deal was happening tonight, and they had to move fast.
When they reached the other side of the shipment zone, Lucas killed the engine, parking behind an abandoned storage unit.
The place was quiet. Too quiet.
Lucas and Kai stepped out of the car and quickly took cover behind a row of rusted shipping containers.
Kai's eyes swept the area.
"Looks like they've already started setting up."
Lucas gave a silent nod. Kai reached into his bag and pulled out a high-powered camera.
He raised it to his eye, scanning the darkened docks.
Through the lens, he counted more than ten men.
