Leaving the cafeteria, Jing Shaoyu and his companions were still in high spirits.
"Little Yu, it's still early. How about we stroll around the academy?" Xu Xiaoyan cheerfully said, holding onto Jing Shaoyu's arm with one hand while pointing ahead with the other.
Jing Shaoyu smiled. "No problem, I also want to see how the academy uses such a large area."
"The outer academy was transformed from the former Shrek City, so it shouldn't be viewed simply as a spirit master academy, but rather, as a city in itself," Gu Yue explained.
"Mm, then let's head out," Jing Shaoyu nodded and said.
The three of them walked out of the Lingbing Plaza area and entered a bustling street, brightly lit and filled with the noise of people. The atmosphere here was as lively as the bustling streets of Shrek's outer city, except that the crowds here were entirely made up of Shrek Academy students and their descendants, known as Shrek people. In addition to the teachers and students, these people were all descendants of those who had once been part of Shrek Academy and had contributed greatly to it. After their passing, their descendants enjoyed the academy's special care.
These families were actually the true backbone of Shrek Academy. Their connections formed an extensive web, encompassing nearly all spirit master families and forces in the Federation. This network was the foundation of Shrek Academy's authority over the Federation government and its detachment from the outside world.
After walking a few dozen meters down the street, the trio came upon a very lively shop.
"What's that place? It looks so lively!" Xu Xiaoyan asked curiously.
They turned their gaze to the shop and saw a group of young people—both boys and girls—gathered together, chatting and laughing. The atmosphere was full of joy and the energy of youth.
Jing Shaoyu blinked and smiled, saying, "It looks like a milk tea shop. Haha, I didn't expect there would be a milk tea shop in Shrek City. They sure are keeping up with the times, pursuing fashion. Let's check it out. I'll treat you both to some milk tea."
"Great! I want ice cream!" Xu Xiaoyan exclaimed excitedly.
The milk tea shop was very lively. At a glance, there were at least thirty people, most of them wearing Shrek Academy uniforms, ranging in age from fifteen or sixteen to around twenty or twenty-one. They were probably second- or third-year students. The service staff, wearing uniforms, were busy moving between the tables.
After some time, they finally found an empty table and ordered milk tea and ice cream. Despite the crowded shop, their order was brought over promptly. The two girls eagerly dug into their ice cream, as girls typically couldn't resist such treats, even Gu Yue, who wasn't particularly interested in food, joined in. Jing Shaoyu, with a smile on his face, enjoyed his milk tea and glanced around at the customers in the shop.
"Shaoyu, what are you looking at?" Gu Yue noticed his behavior and asked.
Jing Shaoyu, returning his gaze to her, grinned and said, "I was just looking to see if there are any pretty senior sisters around."
"Senior sisters?!" Gu Yue's expression darkened as she furrowed her brows, her tone cold.
"Little Yu, why are you looking for senior sisters?" Xu Xiaoyan lifted her head, a displeased expression on her face. "Are they more beautiful than me? Are they stronger than Big Sister Gu Yue?"
"Hehe, I'm just joking, don't take it seriously," Jing Shaoyu, seeing their reactions, gave a mischievous grin. "With you two by my side, how could I care about any senior sisters!"
"Hmph, that's more like it!" Xu Xiaoyan said with pride.
Gu Yue relaxed her guard but still subtly scanned the surroundings, as if searching for some beautiful senior sisters.
Jing Shaoyu, noticing her actions, secretly smiled and took another sip of his milk tea, savoring the moment.
"Come, let's toast to our admission to Shrek Academy!" Jing Shaoyu raised his milk tea and said to the two girls, who had already finished their ice cream.
Xu Xiaoyan and Gu Yue raised their glasses and clinked them with Jing Shaoyu's, calling out cheerfully, "Cheers!"
"Excuse me, could you come over?" Just as they were celebrating, a loud and somewhat exaggerated voice came from a nearby table. "Give me your spirit guide communication number."
Such an arrogant and overbearing voice in a milk tea shop in Shrek's inner city naturally caught the attention of many, including the trio.
They looked over, their faces filled with curiosity, and Jing Shaoyu chuckled softly, whispering, "Looks like there's some excitement."
The source of the voice was a fifteen or sixteen-year-old boy. He wasn't wearing Shrek Academy's uniform, but considering his presence in this milk tea shop, he was undoubtedly a part of Shrek Academy. He was handsome, though not as striking as Jing Shaoyu, but still quite a dashing young man. He wore a white suit, his golden hair meticulously styled, with a shiny waxed finish.
His eyes were golden, with dark golden pupils, giving him an intense aura of light and divinity, which only made his demeanor more haughty and domineering.
Upon seeing him, Jing Shaoyu's expression changed slightly. His eyes narrowed, recognizing the strong aura of light and divinity, and the overbearing, unyielding expression. If he wasn't mistaken, this must be Le Zhengyu, the young master of the Angel Clan.
Interesting, the waitress being bullied by him must be Yuan En Ye Hui.
The young waitress was a striking beauty. She wore a white vest and black skirt, her skin pale to the point of looking lifeless. Her chestnut-colored short hair flowed over her shoulders, and her large black eyes were devoid of emotion as she silently endured the customer's demands. She gave a slight, helpless smile, as if she were being cruelly teased.
Jing Shaoyu could sense a faint dark energy coming from her, and it became clear to him that she was Yuan En Ye Hui, someone with a Fallen Angel spirit.
"Sorry, this isn't part of my responsibilities," Yuan En Ye Hui said politely, despite the strong disdain she felt inside.
"Then how can I get your communication number?" Le Zhengyu asked loudly, his tone even more arrogant and spoiled.
Yuan En Ye Hui glanced at him coldly, shook her head, and turned to walk away. At this point, she still didn't know that Le Zhengyu was specifically here for her. She merely thought he was just another spoiled young master.
"What's this service attitude?! Get your manager over here!" Le Zhengyu slammed his hand on the table, drawing even more attention from the customers in the shop. However, despite the many Shrek Academy students present, no one stepped in to defend the girl. They merely smiled, entertained by the scene.
In fact, anyone who could enter Shrek Academy was no fool.
On the surface, it seemed like a spoiled rich boy bullying a delicate waitress, but upon further thought, it was clear that anyone working as a waitress in a Shrek Academy milk tea shop could not be a simple person. Either they were a student of the academy or someone from the Shrek Clan.
In either case, if they were a student, the academy's law enforcement would intervene. If they were from the Shrek Clan, then sorry, the average students wouldn't have the right to help them.
So, the students simply watched in amusement, knowing that any disputes within the academy could cost them credits and contribution points.
"Please wait a moment," Yuan En Ye Hui said softly, then floated away.
A few minutes later, a middle-aged man walked over quickly, standing in front of Le Zhengyu. He asked, "Sir, how can I assist you?"
"Give me her communication number!" Le Zhengyu pointed at Yuan En Ye Hui, who was serving another table.
"I'm sorry, sir," the manager said with a polite but firm tone, "Your request cannot be fulfilled. The communication number is personal and private. Without the employee's consent, we cannot disclose it."
Le Zhengyu raised an eyebrow, sneering, "Tell me, how can I get her number?"
"I'm sorry, sir," the manager smiled politely but firmly, "If there's nothing else, please excuse me."
"Call your boss over!" Le Zhengyu's eyes gleamed with golden light, and an invisible pressure emanated from his body. His tone was calm, but it carried an undercurrent of anger.
The manager's brow furrowed slightly, and he gently moved his hands, dispelling the pressure, though he still wore a look of hesitation. After a moment, he nodded. "Alright, please wait."
In the meantime, the customers were all looking on with great interest, anticipating what would happen next.
The shop owner, a well-dressed middle-aged man, stepped out.
"Sir, how can I assist you?"
Le Zhengyu repeated his demand, "I want that waitress's spirit guide communication number."
The owner responded with a serious tone, "I understand your request, but I'm sorry, no matter what, we cannot disclose an employee's personal information. Please understand."
Le Zhengyu's eyes narrowed, his expression growing impatient. "So you're refusing me?"
The owner's face shifted slightly, but he nodded curtly.
"Good!" Le Zhengyu gave a mocking laugh, suddenly standing up and snapping his fingers. A middle-aged man in elegant attire appeared at his side.
"Young Master, how can I assist you?"
"Five minutes. I want this shop!" Le Zhengyu said, his expression oozing arrogance.
The owner was taken aback, his face darkening. "I'm sorry, but I have no intention of selling the shop."
Ignoring him, Le Zhengyu turned his gaze back to Yuan En Ye Hui, his demeanor now one of complete dominance.
The young master's butler smiled faintly and handed the shop owner a gold business card. "Sir, this is my young master's business card. Would you like to discuss things privately?"
The shop owner took the card, his eyes widening in shock upon seeing the family crest on it. His face rapidly changed as he nodded and followed the butler to a secluded corner.
The surrounding customers expressed disappointment as they saw the scene unfolding. They had hoped to see a dramatic confrontation, but now it seemed like it was all over before it even began.
"Little Yu, do you think this spoiled young master will get the waitress's number?" Xu Xiaoyan asked with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
"Hmph!" Gu Yue coldly snorted, her eyes filled with disdain for Le Zhengyu.
"Hehe!" Jing Shaoyu chuckled, "Hard to say, but this guy's behavior certainly fits my impression of Angel spirit masters."
"Angel spirit master?" Xu Xiaoyan and Gu Yue exchanged curious glances, intrigued.
"His aura of light and divinity is very strong. Especially when he pressured the manager earlier, the fluctuations in his soul power were quite clear. Plus his arrogant personality—there's no other spirit soul that could match that other than the Angel spirit," Jing Shaoyu explained, shrugging.
"That makes sense," the two girls thought for a moment and agreed with Jing Shaoyu's analysis.
Angel spirit masters were well-known in the current spirit master world, mainly due to the powerful Angel Clan in the southern military district of the Douluo Federation. It was said that the clan was descended from the close companions of the Spirit Ice Douluo and Angel Douluo Ye Guoyi from ten thousand years ago, and there were even rumors they descended from the bloodline of the ancient Wuhun Temple's Pope.
Though their origins were shrouded in mystery, their conduct was notorious—haughty, domineering, and proud. They had become almost synonymous with the Angel spirit.
However, their forceful approach toward evil spirit masters, while off-putting, didn't raise too many complaints since they were largely unchallenged by other forces in the spirit master world.
"Young master, I've already negotiated the price with Boss Yang and completed the payment. From now on, this milk tea shop is yours," the butler said, his expression calm as he approached Le Zhengyu.
"Get me her communication number," Le Zhengyu nodded.
His voice was calm but loud enough for the customers to hear. The shop owner sighed, walking toward Yuan En Ye Hui. Moments later, she walked over to Le Zhengyu and said flatly, "What do you want?"
Le Zhengyu smiled, "I don't want anything in particular. Just want to make friends with the beautiful lady, but it seems she's a bit cold, so I had to take this route."
Yuan En Ye Hui's face showed no emotion as she coldly retorted, "Fool! This is Shrek Academy!"
As soon as her words fell, the sky seemed to clear. The darkness and light vanished in an instant, and a powerful, invisible force pressed down from the sky. Le Zhengyu's face changed dramatically as he stumbled and fell to the ground.
A tall figure appeared from nowhere in the sky, his face obscured, but his voice was full of authority, echoing down the street.
"Who dares to break the rules and fight in the academy?"
Seeing the law enforcement elder appear, Jing Shaoyu sighed and stood up, taking Gu Yue and Xu Xiaoyan with him. "Ah, it's over. Nothing to see here anymore."
