Logan's expression remained unreadable as Selene smiled sweetly at him, her presence as polished as ever.
"You don't look happy to see me," she noted, feigning a playful pout.
Logan barely spared her a glance. "I'm busy, Selene.what are you doing here?."
Selene let out a soft, knowing laugh, stepping further into his office. "Checking on you, of course. What else would I be doing?"
Logan's gaze flickered up briefly before returning to the documents on his desk. "I don't need checking on."
"I know. But you work so hard, I thought if preparing a food and bringing it to you."
Logan didn't react, his pen moving across the paper with steady precision. "I have staff for that."
Selene sighed, feigning exasperation. "Of course, but a meal made with care is different." She set the bag down on his desk, her fingers lingering on the handle. "I doubt Isabelle does that for you."
