Jest woke up on a crystal floor.
The moment his eyes adjusted, he managed to take in his surroundings, and it was that of a serene environment filled with a powerful energy he immediately recognized.
"Sword Intent, Sword Qi, and another..." He tried to comprehend that other energy, but he couldn't. However, just the two were enough to tell him he was inside a place that could not be joked with.
It was all crystal, and the light filling the place was coming from a distinct source, so he started to follow it. It took him just a few minutes to approach the light.
However, from a few kilometres away, he heard a voice come from the source of the light.
"Welcome, Slave."
Jest stopped his advance and looked toward the light, trying to adjust his vision to see if he could make out the entity that spoke, but no matter how long and hard he tried, he couldn't figure out the entity.
"Who is there?" Jest asked.
"Shouldn't a slave bow down to his master?" the voice spoke again.
