Two days later, Shin was standing in the castle watching Alicia and Albert fight. While The Prince of Lightning focused on attacking, emptying all of his mana on blinding lightning bolts, his sister focused on maintaining a powerful barrier and defending herself.
The soldiers on the walls had to look away from the painful flashes of light, some of them even damaged their vision by trying to steal a glance at the tried princess. The king was baffled when he saw them this morning. He knew Albert was powerful, but he didn't expect that much power from his sheltered little daughter.
The king stood on his balcony, looked at the fight for a moment, and then walked back inside, rubbing his eyes. "She can't attack, but her defences are on par with Albert's firepower. Why was I even keeping her inside the castle?"
