Chapter 10 - Chapter 9 -The Exiled Prophecy

Sitting on my living room, reading the newspaper of the day with care.

— Oh, are you here, already? I'm sorry, but Gray isn't here yet... However, I know you are full of questions. Leave them in the comments, and I promise, in my honor, that I will respond to each one… — looking at you, I confirmed it.

Terra, approaching, her soft giggles echoing through the room. — Mister A, are you talking to yourself, again?

I raised an eyebrow at such an absurd comment, placed my right hand on my chest. — Who? Me? Yes, why?

Looking fixedly at me. — Hmmm, strange…

I cleared my throat, then placed my gaze in her. — Anyway, what do you want, child?

She had a smile in her face, but I knew she thought, "Rude...". — There's a little man downstairs, practically bursting with excitement. He's been waiting to be a brought to you…

Bursts into the room, embracing me. — Mister A!!!

I grinned, ruffling the boy's hair. — Boy, have you eaten?

He nodded enthusiastically. — Yes! Very ready to hear the story.

I settled back, my eyes gleaming. — So, sit down! Story is coming! — I looked at Terra. — Thank you, child, you can go! — I nodded in her direction.

Gesturing, I began. — In the imposing headquarters of the Union of Kings…

...

Windsor tried to convince the kings to reduce the sentence, and Arthur received proposals even though he was in prison...

Queen of Alfmosis, Merlin Vallenar, leaned in, smiling seductively. — I like you, and it's clear that you need a little help out of here... So, I'm willing to get you out of here, if you marry me, and become king of my people... — she whispered with her hands on the bars of his cell.

...

— How was Merlin like? — Gray asked.

— She was an elf with unique beauty. Loose and straight dark hair with a crown of purple roses, deep purple eyes, and a pale skin. She usually wore a black dress with a white and purple cape that covered her and touched the floor...

...

Meanwhile, in the Council's meeting room, Windsor got the kings to reconsider the penalty. In the cells, Arthur mercilessly rejected the proposal...

With her eyebrows raised, Odyssey looked at Arthur. — Did you really had to refuse? I would accept and leave here today…

Looking at the director, Arthur sighed. — Do you know her?

Odyssey placed her hand on her chin and leaned her face upwards. — I vaguely know her, I've never had a chat with her, but I know she exists...

Arthur smiled, then sat on his bed. — Precisely, she was lying... She doesn't have the influence, much less the power to get me out of here, she just wanted me to say yes...

Blinking, Odyssey laughed. — And you realized that just with seconds of conversation?

Looking at the director, he leaned his head. — Yes, why?

Two months passed, and the war left its psychological scars. In the meeting room of the amazons' palace, the air was saturated with pain and mourning.

Ryu, member of the Creed of Shadows, seated in golden military clothing, with his face pale and eyes distant. — I-I saw t-things, t-that a normal human being shouldn't see... — his voice shaky, his eyes immersed in profound thoughts.

The queen, whose valor was immeasurable, wished to join the battle, but was dissuaded. They couldn't risk her life.

Alexia returned, and King Yer's daughter prepared for the decisive attack. And Butler, the primordial guardian, was waiting for the opportune moment to free Arthur.

...

Remembering Selena and Alander's marriage, I laughed. — Ah, youth... Not even war can dim the glow of love in their hearts…

King Yer's daughter finally went on the mission to eliminate Arthur, and Windsor alongside Butler set out to rescue Arthur...

In the cells, Alucard went to visit Arthur, to settle the score, and Arthur knew well that he was no match for him at the moment, and just as he was about to deliver a mortal blow on Arthur, Mara, the highest of the princes, appeared to stop it, and Arthur and the director sighed with relief. But suddenly an explosion happened, Mara and Alucard locked the cell, and ran out to see what happened, but another explosion followed, this time was in the cells, and a hole opened in the wall of the corridor between the cells, and...

Daughter of King Yer, in ninja attire with her face concealed, slipped through the hole in the cell corridor with a dagger full of blood. — Eeny... meeny... miny... moe...

As she reached the first cells, her gaze swept from the indignant director Odyssey to the young man she sought, Arthur.

Director Odyssey, looking at the girl with a hint of sadness behind. "Her body... Gosh... It's so good to be young..." she mused. — Who are you?

Yer's daughter stopped in front of Arthur's cell. She took a step back, and she released a squeak. — Hehhh...?! — she looked at him paralyzed. — What are you doing here?!

Arthur stared back, with his eyebrow raised. "This voice…" he searched within his memories. — Who are you?

She smiled, her blade slicing through the bars with ease. — Go! — she grunted, freeing Arthur and the director.

Arthur and the director left the cells, looking at the girl with a raised eyebrow. "She cut bars made of adratium with that ease...?!"

— Idiots, do you want to die? Get out! Go quickly! — she yelled looking at both of them.

Alfred, in Arthur's mind, zoomed in on her eyes, and made a comparison of someone's voice and the girl's. "It is her."

Arthur smiled. — Commander? Thank you…

Butler and Windsor burst through the breach, racing towards Arthur.

Odyssey left her cell and looked at the two. — Oho! That doesn't look good...

Arthur looked at both of them, then stared at Windsor. — Windsor...?

In a luxurious blue suit, Windsor smiled. — That's right, young master, the smiles team is here to the rescue!

His eyes sparkled, his lips curled onto a huge smile, he rushed towards Windsor, hugging him tight. — I'm happy to see you...

Hugging Arthur, Windsor cried. — Young master is already a man…

Odyssey, looking at Windsor, started laughing. — Ehh...? The 'Smiles Team.' Boring name, but effective... — she played, laughing.

King Yer's daughter, impatient, she heard footsteps coming from the hallway. — Enough chatter. Leave before things worsen!

Butler knelt and greeted Arthur properly. — Young lord, it's an honor. At last, I have seen the chosen one. But time is pressing…

Arthur, the headmistress, Butler and Windsor headed towards the hole.

Running away, Arthur turned to the girl with a smile. — Tristan misses you, you know?

Blushing, Yer's daughter pointed her dagger at Arthur. — What are you talking about?! Go and leave me alone!

Arthur arrived on the island and was welcomed from the start by his older sister. In quotation marks, I'm talking about Alexia, when she saw her mother, she didn't leave her side. Hera, crying, hugged Arthur, despite him being far from the showers for seven months, the smell was horrible, but she could bear it, Tristan too. He was welcomed by everyone, but he knew he wasn't there just because they missed him.

He continued to despise his mother...

One week later, Yer begun to notice his daughter's long absence and sent spies to look for her.

After having updated Arthur about everything that happened in the time he was imprisoned, he insisted on asking what they wanted from him... Arthur was bombarded with accusations, and pressured to help, rightly so, because he was the one who caused the war…

Cassilda, had her blonde hair cascading down her golden armor, an armor that covered her body. She sat across from Arthur, her arms were crossed and her eyebrow twitched with annoyance. — With all due respect, prin... — cleared her throat, correcting herself. — Sir, weren't you the one who caused all this? If I remember correctly, who captured the amazons? Who killed Zeus's son, and humiliated his daughters in the live arena, wasn't it you? Who killed his nephew?

Sitting in military uniform, Hera looked at Arthur. "She's actually right…"

Andromeda, seated at the center of the table, looking at Arthur with tired eyes with dark circles. [Son, please listen to me…]

Neytiri, member of the Creed of Shadows, sitting in a military uniform, rolling her eyes. "Idiot…"

With veins on his forehead and a furrowed brow, Arthur looked at the queen. [You only broke me out of prison to use me? Despicable, don't talk to me!]

In a somber black suit, Windsor leaned forward. — Little master, we need your help, we need The King's Force. People are dying, your people is dying...

Andromeda looked at Arthur. — So… Arthur, we need your help, please... — looking at him with a tired expression and slow movements, showcasing her tearful routine.

— I won't help anyone! First, Cassilda, I killed more than forty million people? Did I kill children? Entire civilizations? Cousins, uncles, nephews? Don't give me that, you don't even know how to ask for help properly, and I'm not going to stay here for long, so drop the insults, the ugly faces and everything... — Arthur stated with crossed arms and an indifferent gaze.

— WHAT?! — Andromeda gasped, shocked by his words. — Won't you stay?! Where are you going? — she said, her shaky voice filled with sadness and worry.

Everyone was surprised alongside the queen, but different from her, they were silent. A cloud of silence descended upon the room.

Cassilda, annoyed, stood up and pointed her finger at him. — Ungrateful! After everything we've done…!

Ryu, enraged, slammed his hand on the table. — We've been fighting for months, losing more and more soldiers, and we haven't even started the real war yet, and here we are, trying to reason with a disobedient and rebel child.

Worried, Tristan appealed to Arthur. — Arthur, please... I know the amazons made a lot of mistakes, but help us…

Arthur, seated with a black kimono and a black cape, his gaze bore into Cassilda. — Cassilda, I don't like you, nor any of the amazons. You act like you're superior, but you're the rottenest both inside and out, you look at others and despise the people you kill. You act as if nothing happened, as if you were holy and blameless. You only know how to point the finger, and when someone arrives to kills you as you kill, you order the ones you killed to help you, you don't even know how to ask, you didn't get me out of prison, you just made a transfer, so I'm not going to help. You act as if I were to blame for your sins, I'll leave here, if you don't know how to recognize that deep down you deserve all this, this is not my place. When I was in prison, I recognized that it was my place, and that I deserved it. I did kill, and you? What did you do?

Everyone went silent from the burden of shame.

Andromeda sank into her seat, guilt etched on her face. — Arthur, above all, let me explain...

Arthur rose and as he walked to the door, he grunted. — Butler, take me to the King's Force! And don't be fooled. I won't help, I have my own interests...

Butler crouched. — As you wish, my Lord…

Biting her lip, Hera watched Arthur's cold departure. — Arthur…

Walking away, Arthur paused, then added. — Oh, and another thing, queen...

Andromeda turned to meet his gaze, with eyes that begged for forgiveness.

Arthur leveled a steely gaze at the queen. — Consider this a warning to all of you! — his voice carried the weight of impending doom.

He had everyone's attention, their heart's raced as if they knew what was going to happen.

— Warn your people too. In three years, I will return with the King's Force and an army so vast that Zeus himself will pale in comparison. If, during that time, you haven't corrected your ways, stopped the senseless slaughter of innocents, then mark my words: I will personally end every life in this room and throughout this forsaken island! — he warned, turning to Butler. — Let's go Butler! — he growls, leaving the room with Butler.

Hera sprang to her feet, desperation etching her features. — Arthur, wait!

Lancelot, seated nearby, wrung his hands. — Dear God... We have just made our last hope, the next Emperor king, the next Perfect Warrior, Martial Artist and strongest man in the world, our enemy...

Persival equally troubled, sighed, leaning to his chair. — It's over for us, if Zeus doesn't kill us, Arthur surely will...

And in an attempt to make Arthur change his mind Hera tried to talk to him, but they ended up arguing badly in the palace corridor, and everyone heard the screams.

After the exchange of rudeness, Arthur went to the laboratory. He decided to stay for some time and develop a way to make the island float, and one afternoon, Alexia invited him for a walk, at the same moment Lancelot went to meet him, and they chatted for hours, he returned Arthur's grandmother's sword, and Arthur radiantly thanked him...

The peace was short-lived, Zeus discovered that Arthur had fled, he ordered an ultimatum against the island, and to eliminate Arthur as well.

King Yer decided to leave personally to resolve the matter, but his daughter was heading towards the island. Selena, took refuge in Anain, and there she encountered Alander again, she had just run away from her uncle's house, and headed there for weeks, looking for shelter, and arriving, she and Alander decided to go to the island...

...

Looking at Gray, I continued. — One week after that, Arthur finished the arrays project and ordered the amazons to develop the arrays.

Later, Alexia and Arthur went out for a walk, and already in the city, Alexia and Arthur, observed the destroyed city, and the inhabitants trying to rebuild, refugees arriving, and some of the Amazons who recognized Arthur filled with fear.

While they talk, Allander, his sister and Selena arrived on the island, and went straight to the palace, the throne room...
