[Two Days Later]
"Yes, I will take Callum with me. Don't worry," Rivana assured Azrael over the phone. Sitting on the bed, she sighed softly, not wanting to end the call.
"When will you come back?" she asked, her voice betraying the longing she felt. Unfortunately, the situation back in Draxton hadn't been resolved, and Ezekiel still needed Azrael's presence. He had left immediately, and though it had only been a day, she found herself missing him terribly.
"Soon. We'll return together," Azrael replied firmly. Ezekiel also intended to settle the matter as quickly as possible and return to Rivana. He had already appointed his right hand as the interim in charge, someone who could make decisions on his behalf. Enora would be joining them as well, eliminating the need for any back-and-forth travel.
