"Anrokuzan, was it you who killed my mother?!"
Sara's expression was filled with sorrow.
She had never imagined that the one who took her mother's life would be Anrokuzan.
This hypocrite—heartless and cruel.
Her mother had trusted him so much, and yet he had repaid that trust with such a monstrous act!
Facing Sara's grief-stricken accusation, Anrokuzan smirked coldly.
"She brought it upon herself. She has no one to blame but her own foolishness."
"Once I kill you, the power of the Dragon Veins will be completely mine!"
After speaking, Anrokuzan turned his gaze toward Mirai.
"Mirai, I have already obtained the power of the Dragon Veins. The shadow you cast over me in the past—I'll return it to you in full today!"
Mirai said nothing. He merely let out a mocking chuckle.
That look—
That same condescending look!
Anrokuzan felt a surge of nameless fury rise within him. Back then, he had been powerless, and he had no choice but to endure it. But now, now he controlled the power of the Dragon Veins! And yet, this bastard still dared to look down on him like that!
"Die!"
With a furious roar, Anrokuzan sent another wave of puppet soldiers charging at Uchiha Mirai.
This time, nearly a hundred puppets rushed forward, each armed with razor-sharp blades.
Seeing this, Sara grew anxious.
"Mirai, Anrokuzan has control over the Dragon Veins's power! He can summon an endless number of puppets! You should run first!"
"I'll find a way to sever his connection to the Dragon Veins."
She was well aware of Mirai's strength as a shinobi, but even he had his limits.
The Dragon Veins, however, was limitless.
Given the circumstances, retreat was the wisest choice.
But to Sara's shock, Uchiha Mirai showed no intention of backing down.
"Anrokuzan is nothing more than a vessel overflowing with borrowed power."
"Killing him will be easy."
Seeing Mirai's unwavering confidence, Sara grew frustrated.
"I already admitted that you're strong! You don't need to show off in front of me!"
"This isn't the time for reckless bravado!"
Mirai felt at a loss. Others were usually the tsundere ones—why was she acting like a narcissist instead?
As they argued, the puppet soldiers reached them.
Mirai moved to shield Sara and was about to counterattack when a flash of yellow light streaked past.
"Rasengan!"
Minato Namikaze's voice rang out as the leading puppet was instantly shattered into pieces.
A moment later, a massive figure barreled through, crushing dozens of puppets into scrap metal.
"Human Bullet Tank!"
Choza Akimichi transformed into a gigantic spinning mass, standing at the frontlines. He swung his enormous iron staff, smashing apart any puppet that dared approach.
Yet, despite this, Anrokuzan merely sneered.
"It's useless. No matter how many times you destroy them, my puppets will always rise again!"
Mirai sighed at Anrokuzan's boastful display.
This guy was acting just like a nouveau riche, desperate for everyone to acknowledge his newfound wealth—
or in this case, his power.
Choza panted heavily. "These things really are a pain."
"Minato, what do we do?"
Before Minato could answer, a dense swarm of insects surged forward.
In the blink of an eye, every puppet soldier was devoured by the insects.
"Don't forget about me."
Shibi Aburame adjusted his sunglasses, his voice calm as ever.
Choza chuckled. "Shibi, we always seem to forget you're here. You should really work on making your presence more noticeable."
Shibi merely snorted in response.
Minato turned to him with a serious expression. "Shibi, will this work?"
Shibi responded evenly, "The Dragon Veins's energy causes my insects to explode upon contact. However, they breed quickly, so for now, I can hold these puppets at bay."
Minato nodded. "Understood."
Then, he handed a special kunai to Uchiha Mirai.
"Take this. If anything happens, I'll be there immediately."
Mirai glanced at the engraved characters—"Sword of Shinobi's Love"—etched into the kunai and smirked.
He couldn't help but wonder how Tobirama Senju had felt back then, knowing that Minato had put such sentimental words on his signature jutsu.
"Here I go!"
Minato's expression turned serious. With a swift throw, several Flying Thunder God kunai shot toward Anrokuzan's location.
In the next instant, Minato vanished.
"Rasengan!"
Anrokuzan was sent flying as the Rasengan tore into his chest, leaving a gaping hole where his heart should be.
"Did we get him?"
Minato, Choza, Shibi, and Sara all stared at Anrokuzan's motionless form.
No matter how powerful the Dragon Veins was, a destroyed heart should mean certain death.
Yet, to their shock, Anrokuzan suddenly began laughing.
His body underwent a drastic transformation.
The swarming insects evaporated in an instant as the overflowing Dragon Veins energy surged outward.
The scattered puppet parts flew toward him, assembling into something monstrous.
Within moments, Anrokuzan had turned into a massive puppet-like beast.
"Hahahahaha!"
"Surprised? I already converted my body into a puppet long ago! I am now immortal! No one can defeat me!"
"You should all just accept your fate and die!"
"Dragon Veins Great Fireball!"
A massive sphere of violet flames erupted from Anrokuzan's mouth, hurtling toward them.
Shibi sent a swarm of insects forward, but they were incinerated in an instant, unable to even slow the attack.
Choza swung his iron staff with all his strength, managing to disperse the flames—but the force of the impact sent him reeling backward.
His hair and eyebrows were scorched, and his body reverted from its enlarged state.
With a single attack, both Shibi and Choza had been taken out of the fight.
Seeing this, Anrokuzan roared with laughter.
"I told you! No one can defeat me!"
Minato turned to Sara, his voice firm. "Sara, unless we sever his connection to the Dragon Veins, we have no chance of winning."
"I'll do everything I can to hold him off—you must go now and do what needs to be done."
Sara clenched her fists and nodded. "Understood."
Just as they finalized their plan, Mirai interjected, "Are you two seriously ignoring me?"
"Why don't I just take care of this myself?"
Minato chuckled. "Against a monster like this, it doesn't matter how many people we have. We'll hold out as long as we can—if we fail, then you step in."
Mirai smirked. "Fine. I'll watch for now."
