Chapter 67 - 63 Mommy Issues???

An Exaggerated chapter but I wanted to show some 'Godness' here.

And maybe it is weird.

~~~
(Black Widow)
They walked through the streets of Gaia's Grove; surprisingly, the transportation was completely free; it was nothing new; there were countries in her universe where public transport was free, but international transport was not. It was new, but then again, if you have portals connecting to different parts of the world, it makes sense.
The people around her, while civilians, were far from normal; almost every person around her looked trained or special in some way. If not for knowing that they were in a period where gods walked on Earth with mortals, she would have thought they were in a military camp.
"So, Nat, why are we here?" Sue's voice snapped her out of her thoughts.
"From what I have heard," Natasha replied, her eyes scanning their surroundings, "all that tech and magic we have seen originated from here."
She paused, watching as a young boy flew past them, completely unaided. No jetpack, no visible propulsion, just pure flight, and it was one of the more normal things compared to what they had seen.
Then, something caught Sue's eye.
"Hey, Nat," she said, nudging her. "Let's check this place out."
Natasha followed her gaze to a massive, tree-like structure.
It wasn't just any tree; it was towering, its bark glowing faintly with markings that seemed to shift every moment; it practically screamed, "IMPORTANT!"
At its base was a signboard.
"The Tree of Knowledge – Library of Gaia's Grove"
A library?
Natasha immediately liked the idea.
She was always gathering intel, always learning.
If there was any place that could tell them what kind of world they were dealing with, it was here.
Without hesitation, she followed Sue up the stairs and stepped inside.
The moment she crossed the threshold, a wave of clarity crashed over her; her thoughts, usually sharp, became razor-sharp, and her mind, trained to process thousands of details in an instant, now moved faster.
It was like those enhancement drugs S.H.I.E.L.D. had developed for missions requiring split-second decisions, except this felt… natural, unlike the overwhelming feeling with the drugs.
"This place is dangerous." The thought came immediately, like instinct, but not in a way that suggested harm, but in a way that whispered: "This is bullshit called magic."
And then she saw her, behind the counter, sitting with an air of quiet authority, was a woman, she had long, green hair, flowing like vines in the wind, and piercing eyes that seemed to see through everything.
Everything about her was mysterious and Natasha had met Ancient One once!
She felt something she had never felt before.
An urge, a deep, inexplicable urge to talk.
To tell this woman, probably the Librarian, everything.
Her worries, burdens, her past, and pain, everything she had buried so deep that even she forgot it existed, her fists clenched as she realized something was wrong.
She turned to Sue, about to warn her, only to see that Sue looked the same, maybe worse.
Frozen.
Eyes wide, staring at the woman as if she were the single most trustworthy person in the entire universe, Sue"s lips parted as if she were about to say something deeply personal, Natasha's instincts kept alarming her
She had been trained to resist interrogation, torture, and even psychic intrusions, yet here she was, one second away from spilling her soul to a woman she had never met.
As if sensing her problems, the Librarian smiled; it was warm and gentle, a smile that reminded her of someone she had never known or...forgotten about.
"Mom?" The word slipped past her lips before she could stop it, Sue barely registered Natasha tensing beside her. All she could see was the woman in front of her, the Librarian, not her 'mother'.
The woman tilted her head, "Yes, my child?"
Her voice was warm and gentle, something Sue hadn't heard in a long, long time, full of unconditional love.
Sue's breath hitched, she knew it wasn't really her mother.
(Even if she didn't want to admit it)
Logically, rationally, she understood that this was a stranger, some powerful figure in this city, someone unknown.
But her heart… her heart screamed otherwise.
"Mom, is that really you?" Sue found herself asking a part of her feared to hear no the woman's expression softened, "No, I am not your mother by birth," she admitted. "But I can be what she should have been." She said with a knowing look.
Sue's mind went blank, her thoughts—normally sharp, scientific, logical—came to a halt, suddenly a hand gripped her shoulder, Natasha, who trying to ground her, trying to pull her back, despite struggling herself.
But it was too late as the memories came flooding back.
(Flashback)
Sue stared at the woman—at her mother's face, and a storm of emotions ripped through her, she was a little girl again.
Holding up her first-place trophy, her chest filled with excitement, pride, and hope as she ran to show her mother
Waiting and expecting her praise, warmth, or ....anything.
Instead, she got a glance, a barely-there smile a nod that lasted a single second before her mother returned to whatever was more important than her.
Again and again, it happened.
No matter how hard she worked, how many awards she won, how much she tried to be the perfect daughter…
All she wanted to hear was, "I'm proud of you, sweetheart."
But it never came.
Then, one day… everything changed.
For the first time, her mother showed warmth; she held Sue like a mother should; Sue, for the first time, thought, maybe, just maybe, she had finally done enough. Then, her mother was gone.
Forever.
And Sue was left wondering…
Had it been real? Or had her mother only loved her when she knew she wouldn't get another chance? Or it was a just a dream?
And now, standing here, staring at this Librarian, who looked like her, who felt like her, Sue felt like a child again.
The urge to talk, to cry, to tell her everything.
To ask— why didn't you love me the way I wanted you to?
But this wasn't her mother, and yet…she desperately wanted to believe that-
"Would you like to talk, my child?" Gaia asked and just like that, Sue's walls collapsed.
~~~~

For those who are wondering what the hell happened lemme explain.

Gaia is the Goddess of Motherhood and is VERY powerful, so her divinity affects people, and since Natasha and Sue are relatively normal humans, they are affected by it.

Also, Gaia has an ability called Eyes of Beholder, due to which whoever sees her appears just as they imagine her true form can only be seen by Ender/Herobrine, or in Natasha's case someone who doesn't know concept of mother. (I thought of her imagining Gaia as Melena but Natasha should know about her being woth Red Room by now I think)

And if you are wondering why Gaia is being all Mother like it is because she is just like that kind mother and she feels Sue's mummy issues.

Maybe she can help Natasha with her Motherhood (I don't know what you call it, for woman for men I think it is castration)

AND there may be some problems, while writing this chap my phone was heating so I decided to remove the cover and guess what the screen fell off as I turned the phone, fortunately the wire (or whatever was connecting it to main system was strong) THANK GOD phew, I almost got isekaid.
