Their laughs echoed loudly around him, pulling him deeper into his despair.
"You…" He mumbled, gnashing his teeth as he slowly stood up on his feet.
He tried his best to ignore the people laughing around him, and then pointed a finger at Liam, his arm trembling in fear.
At this point, the darkness tendrils had already completely covered Liam's two arms, wriggling around like worms.
"You did this… didn't you?" He mumbled, clenching his jaws tightly.
"Did what?" Liam replied, but the curl at the edges of his lips betrayed his words.
'I can use all my skills within dreams, that's good to know.' He thought, staring at the dark tendrils coiled around his arms.
He hadn't actually done anything, but it seemed like only Rex could see his power, probably because this was his 'dream', or rather… nightmare.
If he wanted to, he could make it that the other people standing around could also see the tendrils on his body, but he didn't think it was necessary.
