To put it bluntly, among all the Seven Warlords of the Sea, only Hancock has the least ambition and the smallest vision.
The others, even Gecko Moria, still harbor dreams of killing Kaido for revenge and becoming the Pirate King. Hancock, on the other hand, just wants to be an ordinary raiding pirate.
"The Boa sisters aren't here. They probably went out to sea to plunder," Shin frowned and said. "Let's head to Amazon Lily and wait."
"I heard that Amazon Lily doesn't welcome men," Kyros commented. "Is it really okay for us to just go there like this?"
"Since when did we care about that?" Shin asked with a strange expression. "That island is essentially a pirate den. Are you expecting to reason with pirates?"
Kyros opened his mouth but found himself at a loss for words. What Shin said made sense. Why should they reason with a bunch of pirates just because they were all women?
That said, the situation was different. Even Shin, despite his usual ruthlessness, couldn't treat the women of Amazon Lily the same way he treated ordinary pirates.
Normally, if Shin encountered regular pirates, he would unleash Shinra Tensei from a distance, sinking their ship outright. If they happened to be Devil Fruit users, he would make an effort to seize the fruit first before eliminating them.
As the Azure Dragon approached Amazon Lily, the women on the island quickly noticed the flying ship in the sky, causing a commotion below.
Soon, it seemed the flying ship had piqued their interest, as they began firing arrows at it.
Resting his chin on one hand, Shin casually released a flame cloud with the other, shielding the ship. At the same time, he muttered, "Why do I always feel like I have no deterrent effect at all? I should already be the strongest pirate on the seas."
"Speaking of that, Captain Shin, you're a famous pirate who defeated Big Mom and Kaido and even stormed Mary Geoise. Why is your current bounty only around one billion berries?" Pudding complained.
Charlotte Pudding had no idea about the World Government's directives. Because Shin's strength was too overwhelming, they had decided to keep his bounty relatively low to avoid provoking him.
The Marines had initially considered setting a high bounty for him, but they feared that doing so would only increase his notoriety, attracting more pirates to join him. In the end, they barely raised his bounty at all.
In the past, the World Government had increased bounties for figures like Whitebeard partly to encourage rivalry among pirates, hoping they would take each other out. But Shin was simply too powerful—better to pretend he didn't exist.
"I also think it's because we don't have a well-known flagship," Violet added. "Just looking at our Azure Dragon, it doesn't give off the aura of a great pirate crew."
Shin rolled his eyes. After thinking for a moment, he admitted it made some sense.
The strongest pirates in history either had high-tech ships or vessels with unique features. In contrast, the Azure Dragon was plain and unremarkable—an anomaly among the great pirate crews.
"Forget it," Shin sighed. "Once I make an impression on them, they'll remember me."
As soon as he finished speaking, he clapped his hands together.
"Wood Release: Nativity of a World of Trees!"
A loud rumbling echoed as the entire island of Amazon Lily was instantly covered in a lush green forest.
The stamina-draining effect of Wood Release wasn't as pronounced as it was for chakra users, but that depended on the caster's strength.
Moreover, after Shin enhanced all his ninjutsu multiple times, the power of this jutsu had been amplified significantly.
With his current prowess, a single Wood Release technique could drain ordinary Amazon Lily warriors of their stamina completely, rendering them helpless.
On top of that, with Hancock and the island's elite warriors absent, Shin easily subdued the entire island in one move.
"No matter how many times I see it, this is just too overpowered," Violet muttered. "Ninjutsu and chakra can do things like this? The chakra in my body feels like an entirely different thing."
Violet had undergone physique enhancement, with her eyes transformed into Byakugan, and even possessing the Hyuga clan's bloodline. She had chakra and had learned some Gentle Fist techniques.
But precisely because of that, she could clearly feel the absurd gap between herself and Shin.
Compared to Shin, her chakra reserves were like a small pond beside an ocean.
Even compared to Charlotte Pudding, Violet felt vastly inferior, as if the difference between a lake and the sea.
Not that it bothered her much—after all, she never saw herself as a frontline fighter. With the combination of the Byakugan and her Glare-Glare Fruit, Violet had the strongest perception ability in the entire pirate world.
The Azure Dragon slowly descended, landing at the pier near Amazon Lily. As soon as it touched down, a tree branch extended like a bridge, connecting the deck to the island.
"Let's go," Shin said casually, stepping onto the branch. The others followed, and as they walked, the branch retracted, bringing them directly onto the island.
At that moment, the female warriors of Amazon Lily were still hanging from the trees, drained of their strength. Shin snapped his fingers, and with a rumbling sound, the branches slowly lowered them to the ground.
As the women fell, they groaned in exhaustion. Though the Wood Release effect was gone, their stamina wouldn't recover so easily.
"Who are you to dare invade Amazon Lily?!" a voice rang out. "Don't you know this is the territory of Warlord of the Sea, Lady Boa Hancock?!"
A short, white-haired old woman stepped forward, glaring at Shin and his crew.
"Impressive recovery," Shin mused. "Out of everyone here, it seems like you, the oldest one, recovered the fastest. You must not be an ordinary person."
"I am the former Empress of Amazon Lily," the old woman replied.
"Outsiders are not welcome here!"
"As if we were the ones disturbing your island," Charlotte Pudding scoffed. "You were the ones who attacked us first!"
