The air was thick with tension as Yuta stood over the fallen body of the Hero Killer Stain. The villain's crimson-stained blade lay shattered beside him, and the alleyway was eerily silent, save for the faint sound of Yuta's labored breathing. His hands trembled, not from fear, but from the adrenaline still coursing through his veins. He had done it. He had defeated one of the most notorious villains in the city. But instead of relief, a cold dread settled in his chest.

Yuta knew he couldn't stay. The heroes would be here soon, and he wasn't ready to face them. Not yet. He wasn't a hero, nor was he a villain. He was something in between—a rogue, a vigilante. And in a world that demanded clear lines between good and evil, Yuta's existence was a problem. He stood as he prepared to flee away from the scene.

But fate had other plans.

"Hold it right there, kid."

The voice was deep, commanding, and unmistakably familiar. Yuta froze, his heart skipping a beat. Slowly, he turned to see the hulking figure of Fat Gum stepping into the scene. The pro hero's cheerful demeanor was absent, replaced by a stern expression that made Yuta's stomach churn. Behind Fat Gum, a few sidekicks and police officers lingered, their eyes locked on Yuta with a mix of curiosity and caution.

"You're not going anywhere," Fat Gum said, his tone leaving no room for argument. "You just took down Stain. That's impressive, but it doesn't change the fact that you're an unregistered quirk user. You're coming with us."

Yuta's jaw tightened. He had expected this, but that didn't make it any easier. "I'm not your enemy," he said, his voice low and steady. "I did what you heroes couldn't. Stain's gone. That should be enough."

Fat Gum shook his head, his expression softening slightly. "I get it, kid. You think you're doing the right thing. But you can't just go around taking the law into your own hands. If you want to make a difference, do it the right way. Come with us, and we'll figure this out together."

Yuta's fists clenched at his sides. He didn't have time for this. Every second he spent here was a second closer to being exposed, to having his freedom stripped away. He couldn't let that happen. Not when he was so close to his goal.

"I'm sorry," Yuta said, his voice barely above a whisper. "But I can't do that."

Before Fat Gum could react, Yuta raised his hand, and the ground beneath them erupted in a whirlwind of sand. The surroundings instantly engulfed in a blinding storm, the grains of sand slicing through the air like tiny blades. Fat Gum shielded his face with his arm, his sidekicks stumbling back in surprise.

"Kid, don't do this!" Fat Gum shouted, his voice barely audible over the howling wind. "You're only making things worse!"

Yuta didn't respond. He couldn't. His mind was focused on one thing: escape. He turned and bolted, his feet barely touching the ground as he used his quirk to propel himself forward. The sandstorm followed him, a swirling vortex that obscured his movements and made it nearly impossible for anyone to follow.

But Fat Gum wasn't just anyone.

The pro hero burst through the sandstorm, his massive frame absorbing the brunt of the attack. His quirk, which allowed him to convert fat into energy, made him a formidable opponent in close combat. He lunged at Yuta, his movements surprisingly agile for someone of his size.

Yuta barely had time to react. He twisted his body, narrowly avoiding Fat Gum's grasp, and sent a wave of sand crashing into the hero's chest. The force of the impact sent Fat Gum skidding back, but he quickly regained his footing, his expression hardening.

"You're not getting away that easily," Fat Gum growled, his voice tinged with frustration. "I don't want to hurt you, kid, but you're leaving me no choice."

Yuta's eyes narrowed. He didn't want to fight Fat Gum. The hero was one of the few who genuinely cared about helping others, and Yuta respected that. But respect wouldn't keep him free. He needed to end this, and fast.

With a flick of his wrist, Yuta summoned a barrage of sand projectiles, each one sharpened to a fine point. They shot toward Fat Gum with deadly precision, but the hero was ready.

He activated his quirk, his body expanding as he absorbed the energy from the attack. The sand shattered harmlessly against his skin, and Fat Gum charged forward, his fist aimed squarely at Yuta's chest.

Yuta barely managed to dodge, the force of the punch creating a shockwave that sent him stumbling back. He could feel the heat of Fat Gum's energy radiating off him, a reminder of just how powerful the hero was. If he didn't end this soon, he wouldn't stand a chance since he was way past his limit.

Summoning every ounce of strength he had, Yuta unleashed his quirk in its full force. The ground beneath them cracked and splintered, the sand rising in a massive tidal wave that towered over Fat Gum. The hero's eyes widened in shock, but he didn't back down. He braced himself, his body glowing with energy as he prepared to absorb the attack.

But Yuta wasn't aiming for him.

With a swift motion, Yuta directed the wave of sand toward the buildings on either side of the road. The structures groaned under the pressure, their foundations crumbling as the sand tore through them like a hurricane. Fat Gum's eyes widened in realization, but it was too late. The buildings collapsed, sending a cascade of debris crashing down between them.

Fat Gum shielded himself, his sidekicks and the police officers. Yuta smirks underneath his mask as he takes the opportunity to strike again.

He sent a cascade of sand bullets which shot through the body of all the police officers and that of Fat Gum's sidekicks. They yelled due to the immense amount of pain as Fat Gum gritted his teeth in anger.

Fat Gum lunged at Yuta who easily dodged to the left and punched Fat Gum with his hands covered in sand. Blood surged out from Fat Gum's mouth as he realized he wasn't just dealing with a regular kid but someone who had defeated the Hero Killer Stain.

The fight lasted for a few more minutes as they both exchanged blows after blows while Yuta's quirk was getting weaker and weaker due to exhaustion.

Yuta couldn't back down neither did Fat Gum. Blood surged out from Yuta's mouth while he kept using his quirk due to Fat Gum relentless attacks.

Yuta clenched his fists as sand spiraled around him, forming a raging storm. Fat Gum charged, his massive frame barreling forward, but Yuta's sand shot up, hardening into spikes that forced the hero to skid to a halt.

"You absorb hits, right?" Yuta smirked, slamming his palms together. "Let's see you absorb this!"

A tidal wave of sand erupted from beneath, slamming into Fat Gum with relentless force. He braced, his fat cushioning the blow, but Yuta wasn't done. He condensed the sand into hardened spears, striking from all angles, forcing Fat Gum to stagger.

Yuta condensed his sand into a spiraling drill and launched himself like a bullet toward Fat Gum's stomach. The high-speed rotation created a focused impact, bypassing Fat Gum's absorption ability. Before the hero could recover, Yuta followed up with a sand pillar from below, launching Fat Gum into the air before slamming him down with a massive sand hammer with spikes attached to it.

Fat Gum immediately fell down face first into the ground with multiple broken teeths and bones. He could barely move due to the fatal wound he had received from all the relentless attacks.

Fat Gum coughed, forcing himself to look up. "You're... strong," he managed, voice low and strained.

Yuta didn't flinch. "I know."

A pause lingered like frost in the air. Fat Gum narrowed his eyes. "Got a name?"

Yuta crouched down beside him, his eyes sharp. "I'm..Mr 0.."

Fat Gum raised an eyebrow. "Mr 0 huh? Next time I'll defeat you…" Fat Gum whispered as he lost consciousness.

Yuta stood back up as he turned and flee from the scene leaving Fat Gum and his sidekicks to perish.

Yuta didn't wait to see the aftermath. He turned and ran, his heart pounding in his chest as he disappeared into the labyrinth of streets and alleys. Behind him, he could hear the distant sound of Fat Gum shouting orders, but he didn't look back. He couldn't.

When he finally stopped, his lungs burning and his legs trembling, Yuta leaned against a wall and let out a shaky breath. He had done it. He had escaped. But at what cost?

He looked down at his hands, still coated in a thin layer of sand. They were trembling, not from exhaustion, but from the weight of what he had just done. He had fought a hero. A good man. And for what? To protect his freedom? To keep his secrets hidden?

Yuta clenched his fists, the sand falling away like dust. He didn't have time for regrets. The world wasn't black and white, and sometimes, you had to do things you didn't want to do to survive. That was the reality he lived in.

As he made his escape, Yuta couldn't shake the feeling that this was only the beginning. The heroes would come for him again. And next time, they wouldn't hold back.

But neither would he….
