Just great.
Salvatore walked into the room, closing the door behind him.
I wouldn't be surprised if Valentina had been the one who had told him that something was wrong here and for him to be here now, it meant he had left almost immediately. He looked at me first, his sharp eyes scanning me for any signs of injury, but his expression didn't change when he saw that I was unharmed. Then, he shifted his gaze to my father, Master LaRosa, who was still standing near the broken shelf, the remnants of expensive whiskey soaking into the carpet.
I clenched my jaw, pushing my frustration down. If Salvatore was here, It meant there was no one that I trusted with Adriana or the Haven in Costa Rica. I don't know about Micheal but I had a feeling that if push came to shove, he would take just Adriana and leave.
Master LaRosa smirked as he gestured for Salvatore to sit.
