Venerable Gu was not in as good a mood; he paced back and forth behind the sofa, causing the wooden floor to creak loudly while emitting angry sighs.
"When will Lady Mo be able to come?" he asked suddenly, lifting his head.
Venerable Qin brought his hands together in prayer and bowed again to the small Buddha statue in the shrine.
Seeing her not respond, Venerable Gu grew impatient and asked, "Is praying to that thing of any use?"
"What's the use of being in such a hurry?" Venerable Qin frowned disapprovingly.
Venerable Gu couldn't say much in response; he gave a frustrated groan and took a seat on the sofa.
