After chatting for a while, Jiang Xiaobai began to feel tired. His body was still very weak and in need of rest, so he told Ruo Li and leaned against the cave's stone wall to close his eyes and recuperate. Unconsciously, he drifted off to sleep.
When he awoke again, he found Ruo Li leaning against his chest asleep. She was sleeping soundly, apparently very exhausted. Not wanting to disturb her sleep, he remained still, letting Ruo Li rest on his chest.
He didn't know how much time had passed before Ruo Li finally woke up, only to discover that Jiang Xiaobai had been awake and was smiling at her.
The girl's heart fluttered instantly, her pretty face flushed, and she turned her head away, fiddling with the hair by her temples.
"Have you had enough of sneaking glances at me?"
Jiang Xiaobai laughed, "What do you mean sneaking glances? I'm looking openly. You've been sleeping on my chest for so long; can't I take a good look at you?"
