As the bandits corner Minami one crashes into the group nocking many of them over but before they could look back a storm of large stones fly through the room and more go down. As the stone storm ends two bandits walk out but they see no one there so they look up as a bird flies over and another is snatched away but before the main bandit could chase after his comrade he sees him fly past him "Who is that! No- it doesn't matter I'll just kill them" just as the bandit began to charge he saw Fujima and Minami running to the forest.
"I think we got away-" just as Fujima began to catch his breath he has to grab Minami's shoulder just as she tried to run "We have to go back! They are outnumbered." "They wouldn't be here if they didn't get used to being outnumbered.. and besides what could we do if we ran back?" "You took down that whole group couldn't you do that again!?" "That took most of the energy I had to take them down I can't help anymore.." suddenly as if his body realized his words his knees gave out with no ability to get back up easily and he will, because two feet stomp in front of the two as a seething bandit stood before them.
"All of that trouble from two Kids!?" the thought of even one of his crewmembers getting beaten by a child infuriated the bandit even more "I will not make the same mistake! Prepare to die" he growled charging the two down steered by a blind fury that would crack the trees The two kids hid behind.
Stumbling was not easy for Minami since she had to drag Fujima as well who was too tired to move but as the bandit lunged at the two ravenously an oar flew at enough speed that it sang through the air before crashing on the back of the bandits head "Who in the h-" not even being able to get off the ground or shout he is kicked to the face being swarmed by the crowd of fishermen who helped raise Fujima. A younger motherly woman rushed over grabbing the boys shoulders swiftly but softly "Oh- Fujima are you alright?" her instincts kicked into overdrive shocked by the smallest drop of blood on Fujima.
"I'm, fine just a bit... tired" succumbing to the warmth of his foster mother.
"Minami!" a familiar voice echoes from up the stream as multiple footsteps approach and As Hanzo and crew arrive Minami runs towards the "You're okay!.." pausing after the outburst of relief "Sorry I couldn't help Fujima dragged me away before I could go back"
"Minami... I am proud you are eager, but you are too eager-though~ there is no need to apologize to me as long as you're safe. Now lets go there may be some loot for you to take for yourself" Hanzo held his hand out waiting for Minami's
"Alright" as she took his hand she stopped to look back and wave to the villagers before being carried away as happy as a village child that scraped their knee -Minus the near death experience-
"I owe you kid.. I owe you a lot"
This day would seal their bond or so they thought.
