As Jin said that, a hush fell over the place.
Yoru and Rina's eyes widened. Enmei and Sayuri's mouths parted in awe, both struck silent.
A moment later, Sayuri burst out laughing, the sound sharp and chaotic in the quiet room. Enmei leaned back in his chair, his lips curled into an amused smirk.
"Y-you're really something..." Enmei said, clearly impressed by the madness in Jin's voice.
Sayuri wiped a tear from her eye. "As long as we have fun, we're in," she said, her giggles refusing to die.
"B-but, why do you want to do that?!" Yoru and Rina said in unison, their voices layered—Yoru's calm with Aira's cat-like lilt, Rina's strong with the timid echo of the boy within her. The merged voices echoed eerily, their confusion laced in harmony.
Jin straightened up in his seat. His eyes glinted with intensity, and an ominous grin pulled at his lips. Seriousness carved into every line of his face.
