Leo gasped as the air around him stilled.

The vampire palace stood tall once more, unscathed. The destruction he had caused, the bodies that had littered the ground, John's cold and lifeless form—all of it had been undone. It was as if his rampage had never happened.
Leo clenched his fists, his breathing ragged. His mind reeled from the experience. Day Reversal had worked, but something felt… wrong.
The system chimed in.

Leo took a shaky step forward. He was standing outside the gates of the vampire palace again, exactly where he had been before everything spiraled out of control. But this time, he was aware—aware that something dark was lurking behind the surface of this world.
Lucifer.
