After Lucien left, I let out a deep sigh of relief. The way he was looking at me made me squirm. I know he can feel the tension between us, and I know that if not for Georgie's interruption, there is a huge chance we would have kissed if the kids were not there.
It worried me that we still have this strong attraction towards each other even with the amount of time spent away from each other.
Ama gives me a look as if she can tell what I am thinking about.
"What is it?" I ask her trying to mask my annoyance.
She grins and says, "Nothing."
I narrow my eyes at the tone she used to say nothing, and I say, "Just spit it out Amari. I can not guess what you are thinking about."
"I am pretty sure you can guess what I am thinking of right now though," she replies smirking.
"What is it?" I ask sounding frustrated even to my own ears.
"The chemistry between you two is quite evident, and it is obvious you can feel it," she says.
I roll my eyes. "You are seeing things."
