Bai Meiyue curled her lips. However, she didn't wish to entangle with Lu Yin; if the woman wanted to feel all happy and giddy just because she was being used as a messenger girl, then she might as well let her enjoy this feeling a bit more.
"Go and tell him that we will be out in a few seconds," Bai Meiyue calmly told Lu Yin. Her expression was calm and she didn't look like she was looking for a fight but something about Bai Meiyue's stance made Lu Yin frown. But she couldn't quite put her finger on it.
Bai Meiyue watched the woman turn on her feet and walk away with a sneer on her face. Lu Yin was way too young to compete with her just yet.
She turned to look at Jiang Haidai and said to her, "You should get ready too."
Jiang Haidai nodded and agreed.
Bai Meiyue left the room without saying anything more; she took the recyclable bowl with her and then threw it in the trash can. Behind her, Jiang Haidai helped her son put his shoes on and then followed after Bai Meiyue.
