Bai Meiyue didn't answer him. Instead, she chased the two zombies until they ran and scrambled to the upper floors. Though these zombies were yet to level up further, they instinctively knew how to avoid danger, showing signs of early mutations.
They had sensed and noted Bai Meiyue's killing the other zombies, even if they were undead—they knew how to keep away from danger, which showed that the zombies outside were slowly mutating. However, this wasn't Bai Meiyue's concern. For her levelled-up zombies and normal ones were the same. If anything, she was looking forward to their mutation.
If the zombies became stronger, then their crystal nuclei could be exchanged for more points.
She waved her knife in the air, causing the zombies to back away slowly all the way to the corridor where the survivors were kneeling and begging. Seeing that she had succeeded in getting what she wanted, Bai Meiyue smiled.
